NIN were never going to do brilliantly on iTunes but I'm fairly confident The 1975 will be #1 now. If they could do a Jake Bugg and debut with well over 30k (and have some legs as well) that'd be a great result.

I'm surprised NIN aren't higher actually, IIRC they were charting decently on pre-orders for a while. It should definitely be a safe top 10 on the official chart though anyway.

Added the other new releases to the list. Krept & Konan smashing! I guess this is a bit like Skepta's 'Blacklisted', seems to be a mixtape rather than a proper album and it's come out of nowhere to the top 10 on iTunes (but will probably manage low top 75 overall at best). Assuming it's download only.

A couple of other new releases (added to the list as well):

39. Tides - Bethel Music

84. 쿠데타 COUP D'ETAT, Pt. 1 - EP - G-dragon

Pre-orders update:

10. AM - Arctic Monkeys

34. ARTPOP - Lady Gaga

36. PRISM (Deluxe Version) - Katy Perry

43. Alive (Deluxe Edition) - Jessie J

65. Can We Dance - EP - The Vamps

72. If You Wait (Deluxe Version) - London Grammar

105. True - Avicii

114. Mechanical Bull (Deluxe Version) - Kings of Leon

132. Youth - EP - Foxes

183. The Beginning - EP - Ebony Day

As Seven pointed out in the other thread, that looks promising for 'Youth' to become a hit of sorts - it's on an advert as well I think which will help it more.

Wow at 'AM' back in the top 10, it's done incredible consistently on pre-orders (and it's been out for pre-order for ages so it must have racked up a lot of sales already). Arctic Monkeys and London Grammar top 2 next week? That would make me so happy. LG will probably be a bit lower though.

Eek at Jessie being so much higher than KOL, wouldn't have thought she'd have a chance of beating them to #1 but maybe I'm wrong... I really hope not of course.

Not sure why iTunes has 'Prism' in all caps, it doesn't appear that way anywhere else as far as I can see.

New EP Releases

038. Example - All the Wrong Places [Remix EP]

222. Biffy Clyro - Victory Over the Sun [EP]

New Album Releases (Pre-Orders)

001. Arctic Monkeys - AM

037. London Grammar - If You Wait [Deluxe Version]

080. Goldfrapp - Tales of Us

103. Janelle Monáe - The Electric Lady

392. Murray Gold - Doctor Who - Series 7 (Original Television Soundtrack) [Deluxe Version]

853. Gregory Porter - Liquid Spirit

1096. The Boomtown Rats - Back To Boomtown: Classic Rats Hits

1206. Mikill Pane - Blame Miss Barclay

1475. Emilíana Torrini - Tookah

Arctic Monkeys will quite obviously be number one, not sure what kind of sales to expect though. Suck It and See managed 82k which was in June and the lead single was nowhere near as successful as 'Do I Wanna Know?' or 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?' have been, but I'm not sure if they'll manage 100k+ this time. I'd like to hope so.

London Grammar to be Top 3 and Goldfrapp Top 10 please!

911 now up to #26 - Hope it can at least manage Top 40 officially but it will struggle with no physical release and only being available on iTunes.
 48 - 911 - Illuminate, Such a shame it's had a rapid fall the re-worked versions of their old tracks are great and some of the new songs are surprisingly good especially Diamonds.

Forgot to post this last night. You could extrapolate most of this from the update Seven just posted but still posting the list just as a formality  Will make some amendments to the above list some time when I feel like doing so.

GWON London Grammar  Will download both their and AM's albums in a bit!

1. Arctic Monkeys - AM

2. London Grammar - If You Wait (Deluxe Version)

6. Goldfrapp - Tales of Us

7. London Grammar - If You Wait

Happy, happy, happy. :D Hopefully London Grammar will be Top 3 and Goldfrapp Top 10 this Sunday.

197. Don't Panic: It's Longer Now! - All Time Low

Not belittling their achievement in going top 3 on iTunes but I really thought 1D would get to #2 at least for a while (or did they and I just missed it? Never seen them ahead of London Grammar). Pleased to be wrong though. KOL back ahead of Jessie J by quite a lot :D Surprised at how low Katy and Gaga have got now, especially the former as she's never been doing very well on pre-orders. I know she's primarily a singles act but 'Teenage Dream' was still a big #1 album so kind of expecting 'Prism' to be the same especially with a bigger lead single, but its pre-orders are indicating otherwise...

185. Back 2 Life - Sean Kingston

Looks like another week of loads of new entries, hopefully sales will actually increase this time (in fact it'll be pretty bad if they don't given 'AM' is likely to have pretty huge sales). Updated and cleaned up the new releases post ~hooray~

OUCH at how badly that Sean Kingston album is doing especially as it's download only  Then again who has even cared about him for years now? And that 2 Chainz album title is a mess - the 'T' in 'B.O.A.T.S.' stands for 'T.R.U.' :drama:

:re: 1358. Diana Vickers - Music To Make Boys Cry (Deluxe Edition) (Pre-order)
Looks like Elton John's GH's album is shooting up the chart, after his ITV1 special last night on receiving the Brits Icon Award, his new album is out on Monday should see him at the top of the album chart next week.

13. Avicii - True

Looking good for next week :cheer: Would be the best #1 album of the year!

Elton John at #1? I reckon he'd have to sell 60k+ to contend with AM's second week sales; and I don't see that happening.

17. Nothing Was the Same - Drake

Wonder if this album will do better than 'Take Care'? Might peak higher but I doubt it'll sell more.

Rest of the pre-orders top 200 (as well as Avicii at #13 and Drake at #17):

26. Midnight Memories (Deluxe) - One Direction

27. Reflektor - Arcade Fire

33. Mechanical Bull (Deluxe Version) - Kings of Leon

38. The Diving Board (Deluxe Version) - Elton John

45. Bangerz (Deluxe Version) - Miley Cyrus

53. From Here To Now To You - Jack Johnson

69. Midnight Memories - One Direction

70. Swings Both Ways - Robbie Williams

81. Swings Both Ways (Deluxe Audio & Visual) - Robbie Williams

88. Ketevan - Katie Melua

99. Bonfire Heart - EP - James Blunt

111. Alive (Deluxe Edition) - Jessie J

112. Can We Dance - EP - The Vamps

137. Summer - EP - Frank Hamilton

138. The Diving Board - Elton John

174. ARTPOP - Lady Gaga

196. Days Are Gone - HAIM

Wouldn't be too certain of Avicii going to #1, he may be smashing on iTunes but Elton is doing respectably on iTunes as well and he'll likely be a bigger physical seller (not to mention there's a decent amount of hype around him right now what with the BRITs Icon thing). Definitely think 'The Diving Board' will sell more than 'Good Morning To The Night' (anyone remember that? :P) even if it misses #1 anyway.

The Jack Johnson album is out next week too but I think he'll have to settle for a top 5 this time, even though he got #1 with his last album. Katie Melua is also out next week, with a chart history so far of 1-1-2-4-8 she should be coming for #16 but wouldn't actually be surprised if 'Ketevan' peaks higher than 'Secret Symphony'.

Miley's album looks likely to be pretty big :o And on a totally unrelated note woop for Haim getting that top 200 pre-order smash.

:ne: 15. Diana Vickers - Music To Make Boys Cry (Deluxe Edition)

Absolutely incredible!! It would be amazing if this could go top 10 on iTunes, such a good start!
