The biggest faller is Arctic Monkeys from 8 down to #24, mind you Tinie Tempah is down to #17, the following acts Of Monsters & Men, Selena Gomez, Breach, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Eliza Doolittle have left the top 40 chart from last week.

As for the album chart Richard & Adam will have the longest album at #1 of the year for 4 weeks "sad times", hopefully Kodaline will push for a top 3 position by the end of Saturday, as Reading/Leeds festival kicks off this afternoon. Kodaline are performing this afternoon.

where is Gaga on the update? #6 or #9?

#9

Wow! Stil Top 10 for Mel! Glad for her.

Their sales must be huge at other digital stores, as they've been 15-16 since Wednesday on iTunes...

I think it's mainly due to a huge gap between #10 and #11 officially, I hope they can cling on!

I think morally we will all see Loving You as a top 10 even when it ends up at #11 #cries

Just noticed the White Lies album is not even top 40, so that's a bit of a drop from #4 :o

They are still No. 6 on amazon, as the song is £0.69 there. :)

Do we know roughly what percentage of digital single sales is made up by iTunes?

Oh dear! I was expecting a big drop maybe to 35/36 but not that :o

I'm shocked Matt and Mel are STILL top 10 today given that its fallen on iTunes since Wednesday it would be great to see it hold on just for the fact there will be 5 new entries in the top 10!!

I believe it isn't as big as it used to be, still more than 70% though.

Just bought Loving You from amazon thanks to steps saying it's 69p :) I do hope this can stay top 10!

Te Amo the Spanish version is 69p on Amazon too, treat yourself you are worth it *hairflip*

CLING ON IN THERE MATEL! So gonna actually be 11 on Sunday but oh well.

Fantastic to see Stereophonics climbing so much! Fab album!

Is that a new peak for Le Youth at 27?

Thought Drake would have been higher! Flip sake at Arctics, airplay needs to be quicker for these releases, just the same for DIWK although the song might just not be a hit!!

Yes it is

Biggest drop from this position ever? :o

Ah good to see a couple more climbers on the singles chart from Drake and Le Youth today. Hope both along with OneRepublic will manage new peaks this week. Matt & Mel still clinging onto the top 10 for dear life is good too, really hope they can somehow stay there but the lack of a significant This Morning effect probably doomed them to just miss out.

Looks like Tired Pony will miss out on a top 10 album but should get a second top 20. Earl Sweatshirt still looking good for top 20 as well :D Ouch at the slide for the Justin Currie album, he was apparently just outside the top 10 on Tuesday but down to #24 by Wednesday and #38 by Friday, he must have sold practically all of his sales on his first day.

Biggest drop from this position ever? :o

Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' dropped from #4 to outside the top 100 (#102?) at the start of this year so not quite :P

Oh yes, of course! :P Must be the first album to drop outside of the Top 40 from #4 naturally though, since Michael Buble's fall was inevitable.
