Next up and last one for a week now is 'About A Girl', the second single from 'Sweet 7'. This should have done much better imo, but I'm guessing with the Keisha debacle taking up a lot of the time around release, they barely got to promote it. Also the video despite having all the reasons to help the song, didn't imo. Apparently they was going to do their own stunts but guessing it was down to lack of time they didn't. Although I remember at the time of release they seemed to had disappeared or was that just me?

'Run For Cover' I'm guessing is out due it having recieved 4 0's and a 1 point, that mayyy have pushed it's average down a tad.

OMG just watched the 'About A Girl' video and thought that black guy at the beginning looked familiar. I forgot LTY was in the video. RIP. :cry:

 

Video aside, I'm glad Amelle-era Sugababes singles are all falling out quickly. I really do think she partially killed the Sugababes.

Angels With Dirty Faces and About a Girl too low IMO :( The former will always remind me of the PowerPuff Girls Movie, which I was obsessed with when younger. :lol:

Ew. Disgustingly low. Too close to the horrendous 'Shape' for my liking. At least I could sort of see why the other songs were lower, but not this one. I genuinely thought it had a (deserved) shot at top 5! :(

 

'About You Now' FTW. I can't even think what's still to come. But I imagine it won't win as I can't see the other favourites ('Freak Like Me' ( :puke: ), 'Round Round', 'Hole In the Head', 'Push the Button' mainly) getting more lower scores.

Run For Cover being that low is really surprising. I thought it was guaranteed to finish top 10, if not the top 5 - but perhaps I've simply overestimated how much love there is for the first line-up.

Everything else has gone pretty much as I would have hoped/expected though. I was concerned In The Middle and Caught In A Moment would drop out too early in particular.

They really did completely mess up with the single choices for 'Catfights + Spotlights', it's actually a very solid album. 'Side Chick' and 'Every Broken Heart' both should have been released. 'Can We Call A Truce' is amazing too (but probably wouldn't have been a good single).

Yes. Yes. YES! Why weren't we a part of the team for that era? :( All three you mentioned are probably my 3 favourites from the album. So good. Amongst Sugababes' very best too!
