It seems that 'What Now' will be the 5th single from Rihanna's album 'Unapologetic'. Earlier today, DJ R3hab who has done what seems to be an official remix of the song answered a tweet asking whether 'What Now' is now an official single, which he replied "yes!". You can see this below:

Then a couple of hours ago, Rihanna released a 'What Now' remixes EP on Beatport. It seems very likely that this is going to be Rihanna's next single and if not, we can always change the topic title later! You can listen to the song below:

If she should have released anything, it should have been Jump.

I am for once in agreeance with Griff!

I don't understand why she isn't bothering with videos for this era, it just makes her seem lazy as f***.

Why is Rihanna still promoting this era when it has died a painful and horrific death? I can't see this doing anything in the chart
And I too agree with Griff but she should just leave this era, take a break then make a killer comeback single in 2014.

It looks like this is definitely going to be the next single as it is top 30 on Australian iTunes!

This is the R3hab remix that is apparently going to be the single version. Lots of people are comparing it to the Cedric Gervais remix of 'Summertime Sadness' as that was a down-tempo song that was remixed into a dance track.

Rihanna is also going to be on the upcoming series of Alan Carr!

OMG YES! Perfect single choice. The best song on the album by far. This should smash, although I doubt it will.

Surprised she's not abandoned the era after two singles that failed to do much, but good on her for still going with it and not rush releasing another album this year.

Would have much preferred Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary but this is easily the next best option.

ADORE THIS. Really hope it's true that this is the next single!

This is a FANTASTIC song (single edit of Love Without Tragedy/Lost In Paradise aside, best choice left), great choice for next single. If she's doing a single remix of it she's definitely putting more effort into it than the previous two which were just lazy attempts of saying something was a single then doing nothing with it. Time will tell if she's serious about it and is doing a video but I can understand the lack of effort recently, she must be exhausted.

I hope this somehow manages to smash, if it's a way of keeping her name around while not doing a new album this year (because surely we'd have heard something by now?) that'd work perfectly.

Pretty sure Rihanna's album/new era announcements don't happen until about a week or two before drops the official first single  So I wouldn't rule out a new release just yet. :heehee:

But yeah, this & 'Lost In Paradise' are my favourites left from the album so I'm pleased to see one of them become a single. The other two "singles" I think they were sent to radio just to keep her name out there as she went on her massive world tour. This one will more than likely get a video/a couple of performances or something I think, especially with it being so close to X Factor/major promo opportunities (Alan Carr, Graham Norton, Jono Ross et al). But we shall see.

She released Cheers 6 weeks before We Found Love so anything can happen at this point

I'm very surprised she's still releasing a single from this era, but I guess t's just to keep her name on the Radio

Well her label might be putting in more effort, not sure about RiRi herself

I remember 'Cheers' being on the Radio 1 A-list at the same time 'We Found Love' premiered. Was crazy stuff.

I think this was one of the best choices, I'd have preferred Jump or a touched up full version of Love Without Tragedy as have been mentioned but after Right Now I suppose something not TOO dissimilar to Diamonds is good.

One of the weaker songs from the album imo, although it has grown on me since the album was released. I hope there's at least a video for this!

I really think she should continue taking a break and come back in April and have an album campaign similar to 'Good Girl Gone Bad' in terms of release schedule etc.

Cheers and We Found Love were both top 10 on iTunes at the same time as well. Can't be often when that happens with songs from different albums.

A bit bland but alright, and I don't think she'll push a music video for this. A single edit of 'Love Without Tragedy' would have been AMAZE but I think she should let this era go now.
