YM@6 have quite a dedicated fanbase. Also, they've had 3 top 40 hits.

4 actually :P 'Rescue Me' (#21), 'The Swarm' (#23), 'Finders Keepers' (#33) and 'Loverboy' (#39). They've also charted top 100 with 'Kiss And Tell' (#42), 'Underdog' (#49), 'Stay With Me' (#52), 'Liquid Confidence' (#86), 'No One Does It Better' (#92) and 'Jealous Minds Think Alike' (#100). They have quite a few hits for an act of their nature.

Incidentally I haven't heard 'Lived A Lie' yet but I'll be very pleased to see 'Rescue Me' no longer being their highest peaker. Easily the worst of the above songs.

Really? It's the only song of theirs I know. It was like Airplanes with more guitar.

I love 'Rescue Me', the only single from them that really grabbed my interest and I thought it would perform slightly better too, sounded like the sort of thing that was doing well at the time. :( 'Lived A Lie' is pretty great too though so I won't begrudge it for overtaking as the highest peaker.

Oops, I skimmed over "Loverboy". I think "The Swarm" is their biggest seller though and only song with more than one week in the top 40. Be interesting how "Lived A Lie" will do. I think it's going to drop out quite quickly. Although I hope not and that it becomes a small hit.

I would be THRILLED with a guitar based song doing this well if it was anything but this. I'm not a BIG FAN of YM@6 anyway (Lostprophets did what they were doing, musically, so much better) but this is just completely by the numbers.
AM is top 3 a week before... And it's in the top 40 in the past 2 months... I think this could be big for the, Bigger than their Last 2. Great album!

63. Céline Dion - Loved Me Back to Life

Good morning Celine's fans..Her song is Top 30 in many European countries..Why so low in U.k..?? Wake up please..

Right Place Right Time by Olly Murs is holding firmly top 45, the promo later in the week will hopefully be enough to get him into the official top 40.
So if Katy Perry stuck to her original release date then You Me At Six would be #1 now on iTunes :o

Not only that but Burn would be getting an amazing 4th week at Number 1 :o

The singles from AM have been so much stronger than what was released from the previous 2 albums...

Its currently number 1 on pre orders which is great, I think sales will be close to what Favourite Worst Nightmare achieved which I believe was around 200k, maybe 150k might be more realistic though but ill be buying!

It appears Vance Joy quietly released the 'God Loves You When You're Dancing' EP yesterday which has Riptide on it, downloaded the EP as soon as I saw it was available.

Hope Riptide becomes huge

Gutted Underdog didnt chart in the top 40 its by far their best song!!

Bloody hell at You Me At Six! :o I knew they were growing in popularity but I would never have expected them to this successful! Didn't even know they had a new song - Radio 1 usually support them. Or is this On Air/On Sale?

I've been listening to 'Lost Generation' and it has just occurred to me that Rizzle Kicks have never released a single about love or relationships in their career. :o Sounds random but they must be the only mainstream artists around today to never sing/rap about relationships. I wonder why they don't.

If it counts, their verse in Heart Skips a Beat was about a girl (although it sounds like they're talking about a football match ).

LostProphets' Start Something was their only great album and they were coming out of Nu Metal but a little more punky. YM@6 are more punk in the Fueled by Ramen mould. And they have two very good albums, this last one is a bit meh

 25. Do I Wanna Know? - Arctic Monkeys

 50. Do I Wanna Know? - Arctic Monkeys

Should re-enter the top 30 this week! Might even get close to the top 20 again?

I take back saying AM's last album's B-Sides did better than the current ones, clearly judged that a bit early as I'm pretty sure now 'Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You' is higher than any of the previous ones got. Might go top 100 officially? 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?' looks like it might well climb again this week too. Great week to lead into their album release (I see the 'AM' pre-order is at #1 on the albums chart now - guess that explains why the album version of 'Do I Wanna Know?' has shot up so much, it's now the higher version) :D
