110. Eminem - Berzerk

Not a very good sign for this song as it's out on Sunday.

Yeah, I don't think he's going to get #2 now. Maybe #5 like Not Afraid.

I'm sure it'll be around the top 20 very soon though!

He used to always get #1's during his "blonde hair slim shady" days.

:yahoo: :w00t: Excellent start!!

C'mon Mutya Keisha Siobhan, I am so hoping this can totally shock me and actually not be a total flop, even with the most ridiculous Friday release ever.

I predicted #20 at 1am, so I was very close! :D

I know that is obviously nothing astounding, but I am pleasantly surprised with how it is doing. I was half expecting a Cinderella.
It's pre-order has been doing decently when I've checked, it's had quite a similar run to Avril's 'Here's To Never Growing Up' pre-order and that's why it has entered so high I think!
"Get Lucky" was on a Friday.

When was the last Friday release: Disclosure's "White Noise"?

I'm sure they happen every week, but the last notable one was Get Lucky surely? Think that was on a Friday.

Yeah. I would be so over the moon if he got another #1 one day, but I think the iconic misogynistic club smash Smack That might be his last ever #1. :(

It wouldn't surprise me if MKS got as high as #03 on iTunes, sales will be extremely low and I'm sure they've got enough fanbase to purchase around 10,000 within the next couple of days. I'm sure if You Me & Six could get to #02 on iTunes then MKS Could get there. I'm sure their performance on Alan Carr will help them!

iTunes Single Chart

399. John Newman - Cheating [Released 6th October]

644. Conor Maynard - R U Crazy [Released 6th October]

No Saturdays' as of yet in the singles chart.

iTunes Album Chart

94. Foxes - Youth [Released 6th October]

173. James Blunt - Bonfire Heart [Released 6th October]

523. The Saturdays - Disco Love EP [Released 6th October]

Conor Maynard's new song is great. It's in the direction of Can't Say No and Vegas Girl, but I don't think it's as catchy as those.
I expected a #50 debut off ore-orders, so I'm pleased! Unfortunately I think it will stall massively at around #15. But if it goes top-10 in iTunes...
Yes but a lot of people who didn't hear the albums say they're back on form purely because they're having more singles success. Anyone who equates sales with quality is a moron.

I agree that low sales don't *necessarily* mean low quality, but really good albums have a way of selling, regardless of promo and/or poor original critical reviews...

Same Love #16 and should overtake Neon Jungle any minute to #15, then overtake YMA6 when they plummet too. :D

Coming for that long running top ten single.

How many long-running T10 singles have taken this long to get going, though - especially ones that many radio stations are wary about playing?

Someone needs to bulk email all UK record companies, reminding them that the chart week starts on Sunday! ;)
