I didn't expect it to smash or anything, but Jesus you'd think being on a big show like AGT she'd be able to managed a few more than 393 copies - even if she didn't perform or whatever. Ah well, it's not exactly a great song... I actually do quite like it for the laughable factor though...

Voice perhaps not, but personality wise... I'd rather a huge personality with stand out classics hold the record than a reality winner with two of the number ones being covers.

I have heard a lot of times about Leona and her personality. I have watched some of her reviews and i think that she has personality. She seems that she is more educated than Geri too. I don't want to blame Geri because i like her as a pop artist but i think that she is an average British female singer. She hasn't one big song, her material is not memorable and her style is too backlash. On the other hand, everyone knows "Bleeding Love (even the stones), her songs are big/groundbreaking ballads and her style is always elegant. If Leona was a singer from my country, I would be very proud of her..I wouldn't say the same for Geri.. :smoke:

You've shot yourself in the foot with your argument, as Geri's biggest solo hit (the one everyone probably remembers) was a cover.

It was also the worst thing she EVER did (marginally worse than this).

 

'Look At Me' and 'Bag It Up' are stone cold classics. :wub:

I was massively into Geri during her first album era. However, her second album really disappointed me. It didn't surprise me at the time when 'SIYWGF' and 'C' both missed the Top 5.

 

She won me over again with 'RI' and 'D', but I loathe the 'Passion' album these singles are taken from. The only other noteworthy song on there is 'Love Never Loved Me'.

I agree, I really loved 'Desire' and 'Love Never Loved Me' but the album itself was truly poor. :(

From 3 masterpieces "Passion" was her best album with very mature sound. "Passion" and "Desire" :wub:

 

"Scream If You Wanna Go Faster" is perfect album with very wrong singles choice, include godawful "It's Raining Man" (Her worst song ever)

"Circles Round The Moon", "Streigth Of A Woman", "I Was Made That Way" should be the singles with "Calling".

 

'Schizophonic" was the first album, which I bought in my life.

 

She was/is/always will be the best pop singer.
