As you will have no doubt have noticed there has been a change to the nether regions of the board in that there is a shiny new Entertainment section which was in great need of updating. Which is good news for everyone Iβm sure youβll agree.Β But of course we need people to look after these sections and so weβre opening FOUR, yes, four new positions up to applications to mod the entire Entertainment section. Thatβs all of UK TV, Reality TV, Cinema and Movie Discussion, Retro and Gaming and the brand new International TV Forum that successful applicants will get access to and thereby moving the whole new Entertainment section forward to cope with the world of TV and how itβs discussed on this board. Also youβll need to be able to come up with new ideas and innovations to keep the forums active, well-used and civil. Youβll also get to mod alongside Silas and Steve D, as if you need any extra motivation to apply. So get doing that now. Β To do so, all you have to do is fill out a form as detailed below and send it via PM to a member of Management (any of the 4 GMs or Dandy*/Jester) and weβll assess your suitability to the job:Β 1. Why do you want to become an Entertainment Mod and what do you think you could bring to the job? 2. What sorts of entertainment are you most interested in and how active would you say you are in this section in general? 3. What do you assume your responsibilities are, were you to get the job? 4. The two fora of Cinema and Retro/Gaming have been very inactive recently and thus are one of the main targets of this revamp. Please list an idea (or multiple if you have them) for improving upon the old versions of these fora and restoring them to active levels. 5. September 9, 201311 yr Good luck everyone!!!!Β The fact that there are now four (another victory imma go ahead and claim) vacancies means there really is more chance than ever that you'll get a shot at becoming a mod here.Β Even if you don't think you'll stand a chance I whole heartedly encourage you to apply to come work with Steve and I! At one point or another most mods on this site have said 'I doubt I'll get it, but I've applied anyway'!!! Just be original, show some inventiveness and a real passion to work as part of a really strong unit to drive Entertainment forwards. There is such a large potential for growth here in traffic and in terms of attracting new members to the site, so it really is a chance to show off that you have that raw energy and determination we will need to make this work.

September 11, 201311 yr Author I've added a deadline of close of business Sunday 15th to the opening post. Basically that means you have 4 more days to impress us so if you want to apply and you haven't already then do so SOON. Even if you don't think you have much chance, sometimes that's perfect.
