Posted September 12, 201311 yr This has just gone in at #29 on the Hot 100 down to YouTube views. http://www.cbc.ca/newsblogs/arts/the-buzz/...-video-hit.html This is going to be huge isn't it? I believe it's just come off iTunes but Warner are releasing it in the UK
September 12, 201311 yr Impossible to say. Plus they might release it on iTunes too late when the hype has died down. I'm sure it'll go top 40 though.
September 12, 201311 yr There's not really any point in holding it back, radio may play it for fun but it's unlikely to be playlisted on any major stations. Its peak will depend on when it's released. Edited September 12, 201311 yr by Rabbit Heart
September 12, 201311 yr #1. At least hoping for it. Take away the lyrics and it's actually a pretty fabulous song, too!
September 12, 201311 yr #1. At least hoping for it. Take away the lyrics and it's actually a pretty fabulous song, too! Yeah it's actually pretty decent musically - if they changed the lyrics and turned it into a more "normal" song it could actually be a big hit!
September 12, 201311 yr Only just heard this but already love it. Melody wise, it reminds me a bit of Good Feeling & Last Friday Night in the verses and a bit like Changed The Way You Kiss Me in the chorus! If its released NOW, it could actually make the top 10, but these sort of novelty songs do tend to die down after the initial surge, so it depends when its released. September 12, 201311 yr Yeah it's actually pretty decent musically - if they changed the lyrics and turned it into a more "normal" song it could actually be a big hit! Doubt that. The band is from Norway so it wuld've been tough for them to get noticed.
September 12, 201311 yr Doubt that. The band is from Norway so it wuld've been tough for them to get noticed. Yeah fair enough but what I meant was that taking the lyrics out of the equation, the music sounds commercial enough for the potential for it to be a big European hit!
September 12, 201311 yr I bought it before it was deleted but I think it's popular enough for number 1
September 12, 201311 yr I think if they put it back on iTunes ASAP it will easily go top 5. Incredible song.
September 12, 201311 yr Awful song. Decent on production alone. Only catch Scott Mills talking about it on R1, but his listeners could be enough to send it T40 and get the ball rolling. Would rather it didn't trouble the T10 though, the charts look good at thr moment in the absence of gimmicks.
September 12, 201311 yr Produced by Stargate, if you didn't know. EDIT: First four options have all got 3 votes. Buzzjack is confused. Edited September 12, 201311 yr by SKOB
September 12, 201311 yr Stargate produced THIS?! Explains why it's good musically. And there is the NORGE CONEXXION.
September 12, 201311 yr It's good to see Stargate have some sense of humour (see also all the people who have collaborated on The Lonely Island's pisstakes of their music).
September 12, 201311 yr #1. At least hoping for it. Take away the lyrics and it's actually a pretty fabulous song, too! I heard Edith Bowman play it on the review show last night and I really hate myself but this is great! Definitely my guilty pleasure right now! Musically it is amazing but the lyrics are awful but for the novelty factor I can see this going top 20 but it would be great to see this do a 'Gangnam Style' and go to number 1
September 13, 201311 yr I must admit the chorus is pretty catchy, but the rest of the track is pretty dismal, it could get on your wick after so many plays.
September 13, 201311 yr Heard this on radio 1 this morning while I was getting ready for school  Number 1! ;)
