I did fell sorry for Russia going out on penalties, good on them for getting the second goal . It's a pain to go out o penalties .

I have followed the story of the England coach on Dutch TV. It is amazing what he achieved and also how he could get rid of the past. These trainers are also great psychologists these days

 

 

I like Gareth Southgate, he has a calming effect about him , seems to get the most out of the players & is well able to handle the press

Had a little niggling voice in the back of me head telling me Croatia would beat England, and that voice was right...here's hoping England will win the 3rd place match Saturday...

The English team played well and left the past behind. Read a bit about Mr Southgate. If Croatia will win heel will break lose. How great this will be for them.

I was terribly disappointed by England today, i had hoped they would get stuck in & go for it win or lose , Belgium deserved to win, I love a good open game , England did not seem to know what to do with the ball when they got it & kept losing possession , overall England great to get do far in the tournament & I hope they are proud of themselves. . It will be interesting to see what happens now for the Euros , do they automatically qualify because of their WC ranking :unsure:
