You all should join BJSC (Buzzjack Song Contest), you can pick any song to put forward as long as it isn't widely known. You can make up your own country for it too so any of your countries can be Robbieland or something :)

Thanks TWS , I will check in & have a look ....

Enjoy your peering in the BJSC forum, Tess....

Sad news from the big family.....my older brother and sister-in-law called on 5 February to announce the passing of their dearly beloved retired racing greyhound that they had adopted more than a decade ago....the loveable pooch Lucy was 15....and, later in the evening, my younger brother called to let the house here know about Facebook post from a cousin of ours concerning the passing of her father/my uncle/my dad's brother-in-law the same morning of 5 February.....he was 86.....I shall recall warmly/fondly the times we spent together, along with a few cigars when I used to smoke, as well as several snifters of brandy.....I'll endeavor to raise a glass of The Dalmore single malt whisky in his honor....

Sorry to hear about your Uncle Mr Big,

Are people not very mean these days , I am thinking about what has happened to Becks , just shows you that there is no such thing as privacy.

Whoever did it had the cheek to ask for a million pounds to keep it quiet , glad it did not work

Thanks for the condolences Grandmaster Flatty and Tess....much appreciated...

Was he a character? Old Gentlemen usually have lots of tales to tell :)

We don't have many old men in our family. My children didn't know their granddads and I didn't know mine. That inter generational thing is so lovely in families lucky enough to have it.

Yes, he was a bit of a character, my late uncle....he worked for an oil company that sent him all over the world to work at various locations...I remember him saying he worked in New Zealand, Spain, Bahrain twice, as well as in NYC and round Dallas, Texas....after he retired from that, he got a real estate sales license, for something to do, as well as he kept playing golf until about 10 years ago, when his hips and shoulders told him it was time to stop...he always, in moderation, of course, enjoyed an occasional good cigar and a nice single malt Scotch....he got to know his 3 grandchildren well before his demise....my cousin shall miss her father terribly....my uncle's last words to her were, 'don't forget the party'...so, something is in the earliest planning stages for some sort of a celebration of his life come July this year, when he would have turned 87...with his passing, my dad's the oldest male at 78, to be 79 in June....oldest on this side of the Atlantic, that is, since I think I have a cousin in France who's in his early to mid 80's...

Is this the link TWS http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...0&start=500

Do I have to register the song first & can I choose two different artists

If I were you I would send Samantha1989 a personal message saying you would like to enter BJSC92 with country name Robbieland and your song name (it has to be a relatively unknown one), I am sure she will fill out the entry for you! Just say you don't know how to fill out the form and ask her politely to do it. It would be great to have you in the contest. :cheer: You will have to send her the message today if you want to be in it as it closes very soon :)

Bigwiglaf and Laura, you should join too!

I am really sad to read about Tara Palmer Tominkson , I always thought she was a really lovely girl with great difficulties in her life

She was good friends with Ant & Dec & Robbie I believe

So the song selected cannot have been on an album

I am thinking Pink Floyd rather than Robbie :P

It can have been on an album btw :) just wasn't a hit in the singles chart.

You should send that message to Samantha1989 I mentioned before by the end of 10/02/17 as that's when the contest closes.
