Haven't heard Wrecking Ball to judge, but at least Katy managed to get there for a bit before it knocked her off.
I'm surprised Blurred Lines is *already* down to #4. Also don't understand how Drake dropped a place, and it's a shame Eminem only climbed 2 places with his music video release.
Miley and Lorde, omg yayyyyya
Whoa, HUUUGE numbers for Miley xD So happy.
So has Avril been and gone now? :(
'Applause' has sold 938,000 copies in 5 weeks. Steady slayage wins in the end <3

How many did Born this Way sell, could Applause overtake it?

Go Mileeeey! You go, Glen Coco! :cheer: :cheer: Her first US no.1 just a few weeks after her first UK 1!

Until this week, Arcade Fire was one of only 17 artists to top the US album chart but never appear in the Hot 100!

Also, I guess I was wrong to assume that The Fox would be top 10  I knew it wouldn't outpeak Gentleman but it still could at some point, judging by iTunes

Demons is back and will hopefully be the next Imagine Dragons song to chart for a full year! :cheer:

Do you have a list of the others at all? Would be interested to see this.

I think the analogous list for the UK is likely a lot longer than that somehow.

Yes, in fact it's on Wikipedia! But now I see it's outdated so I'll have to edit it, but here:

Van Cliburn, Bob Newhart, Judy Garland (who had hit singles which predated the Hot 100), Frank Fontaine, Blind Faith, N.W.A., Pantera, Makaveli (alter ego of 2Pac), Bob Carlisle, Slipknot, Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, and Amos Lee.
I see TobyMac (#1 in 2012) and Chris Tomlin (2013) missing...so by my count the number should now be 15
