This may seem like a stupid question, but does anybody actually like 'Wrecking Ball' as a song? I've never heard anybody mention what it actually sounds like, only the video.

It's a brilliant song! It's getting a much better reception than We Can't Stop did.

I really like the song, it's a grower, but the video partly ruins it for me

Taylor Swift ft. Gary Lightbody – The Last Time

Another release from "Red"? I thought Taylor's album is done, but maybe this release will get dropped like the "Red" single did.

I don't think Red was ever confirmed

I expect that this song has an X Factor/Strictly performance lined up already

Surprised at the Will Young release, The Hits doesn't seem like that long ago and it was fairly big, plus he's only really had a huge smash in Jealousy since. I still can't tell if it's a cheap cash in or supposed to be a regular release.

The only reason they are releasing it is because Will has moved to Island Records, so yeah it's a cash-in, though a full-price one. It might do OK since you don't see The Hits around much any more and it was a few years ago now wasn't it? Putting Jealousy as track 1 was a good idea. Shame they didn't fit his last 2 singles on there to make it complete.

Zedd ft. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night

I heard it might be the Gary Barlow single, which would make sense.

Elvis Presley's 'The Nations Favourite Elvis Songs' album has been brought forward to 4th November.

Presumably the programme will air on the 2 November then? For an artist with so many very popular hits it will be very interesting to see what is voted as number one.
