Lucy Spraggan doing WAYYYY better than I thought, clearly some demand still pent up from a year ago! Yay for Sia going top 50, been a while since she's had a hit in the UK where she's been the lead artist. No doubt it'll drop away soon though.

Welcome To The Black Parade" was everywhere, even Radio 1 played it.

really? I never heard it outside and i never heard anyone talking about it at the time.

Well you say that now, they may not actually do it!

*Phew*

They definately will. I would put money on them getting the #1 on Sunday.

 129. Lorde - Royals

Just heard Capital play this (21:27) :w00t:, hopefully it will get their full support soon!

56. The Wombats - Your Body Is A Weapon
How the hell did My Chemical Romance manage to get a #1 anyway?, i barely heard that song when it was out.

It was massive at the time! It wasn't just a flash in the pan #1 either, it was #1 for two weeks and spent ages in the chart!

They used to play it on Galaxy, back when you used to see people with long black hair and massive fringes.

56. The Wombats - Your Body Is A Weapon.

Are we all just ignoring this then?

If it's anything like their other songs, that's certainly what I intend to do.

Unusual to get a pre-announced midweek release from a UK act though.

82. Conor Maynard - R U Crazy

88. Eminem - Berzerk

248. The Saturdays - Disco Love

255. John Newman - Cheating

It's looking likely that we could have five new entries in the top 10 (including ' Wrecking Ball') I'm fully expecting Avicii, Dizzee, Macklemore, The Vamps and Demi to drop out of the top 10 with the lattter returning following being performed on the xFactor.

:ne: 73. We Remain - Christina Aguilera *pre-order* (18th November)

18 Nov is the release date of the Hunger Games soundtrack itself. 'We Remain' (along with 'Elastic Heart' and another version of 'Atlas') have been made available to download ahead of the album release. :P

I guess so  but what was the last *proper* indie/rock/alternative guitar-based Number 1? Paradise? Although even that doesn't sound very guitar heavy! I miss the days when Oasis and bands like My Chemical Romance were getting Number 1s!

If you're not counting Paradise (or Somebody That I Used To Know) then Killing In The Name, and before that Sex On Fire.
