I'll begin the results at 6.30pm then, as I want to finish them before X Factor too. Last time I did the semi results it took around 1 hour 15 minutes so that should work out perfectly. Then those following the chart show thread won't have too much to catch up on.

I'm not so sure. I love Einaudi but I'm not sure that it will have enough mass appeal to win. I can't see it gaining that many pop votes and the large hipster votes will go elsewhere too, I'm sure it will do well with the people in the middle though.

 

That said, it does look as though both AQ's will easily make the top five/ten this month which is a good result seeing as a lot of the time they sort of feel like final filler.

Gut feeling is that the top 5 will consist of Aeroche, Rontvia, Ramrynia, Trifoski, Espen in some order. I hope Experience does okay, I think it potentially could finish anywhere and is definitely the first entry of mine that I think has the potential to blitz and bomb in equal measures.

Goldroom has to be a hallenger for top 5 surely! I think espen might not do so well now, not found a clear frot runner yet tho (most of sf1 still to listen)

'Embrace' is nowhere near as good as 'Sweetness Alive' so if that smashes while the latter scraped the top 20 I officially DON'T GET BuzzJack.

 

(I wish I could support D'yermak'er more but they just keep sending such overrated stuff and whenever they actually send something good they DNQ :angry:)

Vienna is growing on me BTW, just so you know I'm not totally over Syndare these days.

 

I was gonna listen to all of semi 1 but I ended up giving up after 7 songs and never did listen to the rest oops. Will try to make an effort to listen to the DNQs from semi 1 after they're announced.

I loved Vienna and I'll be outraged if it DNQ's

 

 

Shotgun on the other hand is a dead cert for #23 or something

I found the original first on my usual source (which would be Guardian new music) and I was gonna send it, but found this remix in the process, I don't usually approve of instrumentals being sang over but this one worked really well and it sounded like it would have wider appeal, also I couldn't ignore a lyric reminding us all that Miami is a place *.*

 

Both versions are indeed great though, if you don't know it, check out the original people!
