I'm sure a Bastille song was used too, but I might have been mistaken. :kink:

Yes, 'Get Home' was also used but it is not in the top 1500 at the moment.

Aww I wish it was their wonderful new single 'Of The Night'

What's going on with this Mcfly song?, it seems to be an EP pre-order however it is appearing in the singles chart.

I thought Fatboy Slim would be guaranteed a number 1 but now 1D are releasing that week...it's going to be a repeat of the summer when Avicii stopped them getting to number 1, I just hope Fatboy Slim can have the same luck!!

Shiek Abdul says One Direction would have no chance what so ever of stopping Fatboy Slim getting to #1. The great Sheik can only see Lorde as a potential threat to Fatboy Slim in 2 weeks time.

Back on the rise now that it's 59p again

Why are members unsure about how well Showtek is going to do next week? I think it will be a massive shock if it doesn't go top 5. It's been massively pushed on r1 all the way from Zane Lowe months ago. Here's my top 5 next week

1) Lorde Anything between 75-150k

2) James Arthur 75-100k

3) One Republic Another 60-65k

4) Showtek Possibly ahead of OR 70k

5) Miley

I'm unsure how KP will do due to Roar still being massive & the album being massive so she might jump in there too as well as top 10 for Sean Paul possibly!

:ne: 190. Birdy - Terrible Love

This was used on Waterloo Road tonight, very glad to see it in the iTunes chart!

Take a listen to the far superior original by The National.

I don't think it will go top 1500, it was only used for a few seconds. :P

I know it's unlikely at this stage, but Union J could also be a top 10 contender?

(and Icona Pop in an ideal world... meh, they won't get top 20 :()

Union J are gonna have to pull a shit load of promo out the bag if they think they're in with a chance of going top 10. As sad as it is and as much as they deserve it, they promoted it too early. All those performances on the lottery awards and what have you, they've done absolutely bugger all. An X Factor slot would have done nicely, but it seems we're not getting that. This is gonna be an album selling era and not driven by singles.

I don't remember that much promo being done for Carry You but I reckon this could just scrape top 10 but it might end up at 11-12 which would mean they would need something special to happen for them not to get dropped or even split

Plus there are already too many boy-bands around...

Oh 'Sail' is 59p, didn't notice that before - I guess that's why it's taken off a bit in the last couple of weeks although it had been gradually climbing for ages before that.

But they have a fan base- building on twitter as well.

Didnt their Carry You still have decent first sales?

Plus they probably have an x factor performance to given sales a boost.

I would have thought their fanbase on twitter would be declining now, not building. They don't to have brough the post X-Factor buzz that JLS for example had.
Usually for artists from shows like X Factor their first single after the show does the best. Olly Murs is the only one I can think of who got bigger chart hits later on. Even people like Leona and One Direction who had massive amounts of success for years didn't manage to top Bleeding Love or What Makes You Beautiful (in terms of chart success at least).
How do you guys think britneys new single will do? Its getting tons of plays on tv now!
