Usually for artists from shows like X Factor their first single after the show does the best. Olly Murs is the only one I can think of who got bigger chart hits later on. Even people like Leona and One Direction who had massive amounts of success for years didn't manage to top Bleeding Love or What Makes You Beautiful (in terms of chart success at least).

Arguably Lucy Spraggan is another example if you call 'Lighthouse' her first post-show single. Misha B's second single also peaked higher than her first although I'm not sure if it outsold it? Other than that, yes, the overwhelming trend is that their first release is their biggest.

thanks. hopefully it climbs a lot after the interview tonight.

That annoys me when they have two musical guests on there and have the shit one of the two perform... I'm sure that happened in J-Lo's episode too and she didn't get to perform 'Live It Up'. :(

If Katy Perry is still performing on shows like that in 50 years il be very surprised!!
Who told you that, your gran?

Chill out...maybe KP didn't want to perform?

Thankfully Katy isn't singing though.

At least they've avoided that tonight though.

Could go top 100 after Alan Carr tonight? Depends if or how much of the video will be played.
