Mary Lambert's vocals are really sweet. I hope we hear a lot more from her in the future. :)

Maybe in the wake of "Same Love", this might be released:

Biography

In Manchester (UK), Ben cut his teeth with many years running and DJ-ing for a successful night and is now producing records with an ever filling gig diary. With a childhood spent enjoying heavy metal and pop punk, he moved into electronic music in his late teens.

His first full length EP within a few days reached No.3 in the Beatport Chart and No.1 on the Deep House Chart. The track has been highly supported by Solomun, Seth Troxler, David August, Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Heidi, Maxxi Soundsystem to name but a few. The "What I Might Do" EP landed on MTA Records/Under The Shade on 01.10.12 with remixes from Adam Shelton, Bonar Bradberry (PBR Streetgang & Harry Wolfman).

In late 2011, Ben was made Creative Director at Purp & Soul; an already established brand by friend Chris Farnworth. Together they have formed a label & agency which is going from strength to strength forging family ties with 7 artists so far on the roster. Showcases have sold out in this country and abroad and their label continues to build momentum.

With the next record in the pipeline already, Ben has recently remixed for Southern Fried and is working on many others. - Facebook

Does anyone know the total of sales Lady Gaga Applause?

I think it was on around 190k til last week., but in the top 40 year to date thread you can see the exact data.

Because it's not normal to give hate points to a ballad song when you have an abysmal like"Something Really Bad"..

It's not the song itself, it's her vocals - she just isn't a good enough singer to sing that song. Nothing against her generally, I like some of her other material.

Maybe in the wake of "Same Love", this might be released:

I never knew there was just a song of the best Same Love bit!

Summertime Sadness makes me sad now as the days get shorter it reminds me when it was top of the charts making it seem like an age ago!!

Also Same Love isn't hanging around long, seems like it should be still rising to its peak. Where did it chart in airplay?

Biography

Pop singer Justin Bieber was barely into his teens when he released his platinum-selling debut, My World, and became one of 2009's youngest success stories. An Ontario native, Bieber had placed second in a local singing competition two years prior and began posting his performances on YouTube. The videos caught the attention of Scooter Braun, a talent agent and former So So Def marketing executive, who helped Bieber land an impromptu audition with the R&B star Usher. Impressed by what he saw, Usher — along with Island/Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid — quickly signed the 15-year-old Bieber to a recording contract.

Bieber released his first single, "One Time," in May 2009. Supported by a popular video that featured an appearance by Usher, "One Time" went platinum in both Canada and America, a feat that was replicated later that year with the release of My World. The disc was technically an EP, featuring only seven songs, but it reached number six on the Billboard 200 album chart and sold over a million copies. Less than a year after his debut, Bieber returned with the "second half" of My World, a ten-song release titled My World 2.0. Further demonstrating his and his management's marketing power, over 8,000 fans who pre-ordered My World 2.0 had their head shots used in a photo mosaic (formed to look like a portrait of Bieber) that was displayed on the back side of the disc's booklet. The release topped the Billboard 200. A few weeks later, a combination of My World and My World 2.0, titled My Worlds, appeared in some territories.

By the end of 2010, Bieber issued My Worlds Acoustic, a set featuring acoustic versions of nine songs off the My World discs, as well as one new song. The following February, the 3-D documentary Never Say Never was released to theaters. The seven-track Never Say Never: The Remixes, released just days after the film, maintained the flow of Bieber product, and featured appearances from the likes of Kanye West, Usher, and Miley Cyrus. Just in time for Christmas 2011 came the holiday-themed Under the Mistletoe, complete with several celebrity guest duets and an original song, "Mistletoe," for the first single, which entered the Holiday Songs chart at number two. In 2012, Bieber returned with his sophomore studio effort, Believe. Featuring the single "Boyfriend," the album also included guest appearances from Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and others. It became his fourth number one album. Believe Acoustic, a sequel to My Worlds Acoustic, followed in 2013. ~ Matt Collar & Andy Kellman, Rovi / iTunes

Discussion Trhead Here

Thanks, more to get easier you could not tell me

Yeah, don't roll your eyes at me please.

So we're going to have a new Justin Bieber song in the top 40 for the next 9 weeks... :manson:

'Heartbreaker' is inoffensive but a little boring on first listen. I won't be listening to it out of choice.

I hope we don't have to endure a new Justin Bieber track every week for the next 10 weeks.

Seems like we will :(

Justin Bieber :puke: Still a least it missed the top ten. :)
#6 is a good peak for 'Same Love', it's done really well even if it's not lived up to their previous two singles. Have to wonder if their next single (whenever it happens) will come anywhere near the success of their first three, though.

I think unless they can recapture the ~magic~ with their next album they'll be a three hit wonder for the moment. (Assuming they're going to stick together as a duo).

'Heartbreaker' is a bit higher than I expected given how low it was on iTunes by the end of the week. Sounding boring. Flush.
