Love the acoustic.

Yeah it would be a real shame if it does get used in an ad then is only available on Amazon.

There always seems to be some form of hindrance each year to one more sleep doing well.

Would be fitting that she gets the song on an ad only for the version to be an exclusive to amazon for streams/download.

I'll buy it nearer to christmas to help its peak.
I really don’t want to see, nor do I think Leona would go down the reality tv route. At this point in time leona is still getting gigs globally and able to make the music she wants. It might not be as successful as fans would like but by no means is this the end of leona’s career.

Besides, it’s very rare a reality tv stint has long term benefits to an artists career. Pixie Lott hasn’t exactly set the charts slight since her strictly stint for example.

Fingers crossed Leona’s streaming is much better this year with the help of those playlists she has been added to. Really dented her position last year which was a shame after it was doing pretty good on iTunes.

 She started her career on a reality tv show, no?

It is actually a TALENT show ;)

145 On Spotify! When did it enter last year?

She's showing up in the top 200s today at #196.I have no idea if she's on ACR or not though.

It doesn't seem as if she is as she's been around #150-200 on iTunes when both versions are combined and has just entered the top 200 on spotify. So a #196 placement would seem a little high if she was on ACR.

ACR ?

ACR ?

New chart rule where by any song that has spent at least 10 weeks on the chart will see its stream ratio increased from 1:150 to 1:300 if they have 3 consecutive weeks of sales decline.

It does not seem she is on it otherwise she would not be top 200 yet

Great to see her enter so early on Spotify but I remember last year she entered then fell for a while, so I expect the same this time. Fingers crossed she doesn't though.

When it hits December she should be doing well on spotify.

(Just explaining a couple of things about the charts) -

Since July 2017, the charts (the midweeks & end of weeks) are Top 100 only, and include the aforementioned streaming ratio rules (Standard Chart Ratio [sCR] = 1:150, Accelerated Chart Ratio [ACR] = 1:300. For example, 1 million streams in a week for a song on SCR is 6,666 sales, but on ACR it would be 3,333 sales.)

The Top 200 that Joe has mentioned is a separate entity, it doesn't take into account the new rules (so it's essentially what the chart would look like, if the July 2017 rules hadn't been put into place). So, #196 shouldn't be regarded as being an official position, it's a redundant chart. As Joe mentioned, this chart offers no indication regarding whether she'd be on SCR or ACR.

#100 in the "official" midweeks is on 1,131 sales. Leona at #196 in the "unofficial" midweeks is on 1,035 sales. If she actually is on ACR, that would be adjusted down to 647 sales. Hopefully she's made it back onto SCR!

Thanks for the explanation, it's quite confusing! Hopefully Leona is on SCR. :)

How we know if she is on acr or not...we will find out once she is on the top 100 ? Or just see how works for the other christmas songs that already are in the top 100
