True. I think Britney's song is more creative though, at least the lyrics are slightly amusing. I think it would've done better during 2007-2011 rather than today, but it still exceeded my expectations.

 

Not followed iTunes alot the last few days, a few surprises springing up; Afterglow back in the top 10 :o and Work Bitch down to 13 already! (+ of course GWON Awolnation, gives me hope that Sweater Weather will somehow take off one day :kink:)

 

I've never heard Sweather Weather, but it's taking off in the US right now. Judging by the title, it's a song most appropriate for Winter, so if it doesn't smash soon, it might have to wait until next year. :lol:

 

And yay for Afterglow!!! :cheer: It's a brilliant song.

Because repeated use of the word bitch and the ridiculous accent she puts on it are trying too hard, but the overall song is lazy, chasing the success scream and shout had. All she had harped on about was how personal this album is, then the first single is this?

I don't really get this phrase "trying too hard" in relation to this track. "Trying too hard" to do what, or to be what?

Thrilled at how much staying power 'Move' is having at the moment. It really does seem to slowly but surely winning people over, I know a lot of people who don't normally like them who have said they really like it now. I am hoping it becomes a long running hit.

I genuinely believe Ellie Goulding could miss the top 5 next week.

 

So do the majority of people :P I think she'll end up around #7 which is pretty good for a post-album Ellie single. Should get at least 2 weeks top 10 after CIN as well.
