November 20, 201312 yr It means she's sold 84% less this week so far than she had at this point last week.
November 20, 201312 yr I'm so happy that Jake Bugg isn't number 1 and I hope he never reaches it. He stood no chance against Eminem, Gaga, Robbie or 1D first week sales anyway. I somehow feel (and hope) he will climb to no1 in a quiet week in January or February.
November 20, 201312 yr It means she's sold 84% less this week so far than she had at this point last week. Which also means she should do more than 84% of her debut week sales this week. Her first week was perdictably heavily froantloaded. She could even climb a bit higher than this #8 until Sunday.
November 20, 201312 yr It means she's sold 84% less this week so far than she had at this point last week. Makes sense, thanks!
November 20, 201312 yr I'm so happy that Jake Bugg isn't number 1 and I hope he never reaches it. Why?
November 20, 201312 yr :o at that lead on the singles chart!! I don't remember the last battle for number one was this close I know we have seen weeks where there's only been a few hundred sales between 1 and 2 but 15 copies!!!!!!! I reckon Lily will end up at number 1, with Gary at 2 and Bastille at 3 but it could be a close one! I'm expecting Robbie to sell just over 100k on the albums but  at Gaga's fall... And one other thing, I listened to the chart update today and am I on my own in thinking that Justin Bieber track is one of the biggest crimes against music of all time...:puke: I thought it couldn't get any worse but I just hope this falls hard by Sunday
November 20, 201312 yr So Lily closed the gap 2.6K per day... so in Friday she will be number 1 already.
November 20, 201312 yr Closest in recent history was "Foundations" missing out by 16 copies against TimbaBLAND. :( ~still hurts~ :( It was even more painful for Foundations, since it spent so long at #2. But the songs that beat it were much better imo.
November 20, 201312 yr Royals hasn't been anywhere near as successful as I'd assumed it would be, out of the top 10 by week 5 is really unexpected.
November 20, 201312 yr Totally appalling for Gaga!! :o but I'm enjoying Monsters having a dose of karma. :cheer:
November 21, 201312 yr Further sales information Compilation Albums 1 Now 86 (121,655) So the 1,000th number 1 album isn't even going to be the biggest selling album of the week.
November 21, 201312 yr gary will end the week higher than bastille, question is can gary hold off lily..i like lily but would live gary to do it, great sales in both charts though.
November 21, 201312 yr I would also be thrilled with a number 2 for Gary, i would be even more thrilled if he can manage a nice steady chart run too.
November 21, 201312 yr Interesting chat battle on the singles. Gary is now number 4 below Lily Allen...I would prefer him to be number one but think he might not make it.
November 21, 201312 yr Surprised at the mass love for Gary, he is terrible?! Lily would be far better, even if it isn't anywhere near her best song.
November 21, 201312 yr Surprised at the mass love for Gary, he is terrible?! Lily would be far better, even if it isn't anywhere near her best song. You thinking Gary is terrible is your opinion, i think he is brilliant but again my opinion. Why you are surprised by the mass love for him is puzzling considering how huge Take That are and he has a lot of fans from X Factor. Let Me Go is catchy too so all that combined would surely indicate success especially for a lead single from an album his fans have waited 14 years for.
November 21, 201312 yr I think (hope) Bastille will be ahead of Gary. In an ideal world they'd beat Lily too.
