Sandro, I agree with you as much as anybody that it should be about singing ability, but the truth is that it's always "have you got the X Factor?" - so contestants HAVE to have more than just a good voice to survive on the show. It's why Sam C lasted as long as he did. It's why Wagner got to week 8. It's why so many people lasted longer than they should have.

I had this argument the other week.. I'm not saying you have to accept that people think she's got the X factor but just because you don't see it doesn't mean she doesn't have it.

Obviously people have different opinions but you claiming she doesn't have it doesn't mean it's not there.

 

 

Anyway, I'm gutted she's gone home but it just wasn't meant to be. She would have never won it.

It's better now that she takes some time, finds out who she is and makes an album with the right people.

I have no doubts she'll be snapped up in a second.

 

And with regards to the final 4.. it's a dreadful shame. None of them are pop stars.

I'm all for a Sam Bailey win now. Hopefully she can find a market somewhere.. I'm not sure where though.

IMO Nicholas will be big around mothers day or Christmas each year.

Rough Copy are the new Union J and Luke will do a Matt Cardle and have a few top 40 albums.

Can I just say, Tamera comes from our neck of the woods, her history is not exactly rosey, she does get quite a lot of hate, people need to get themselves a hobby and let her move on.

 

There are other artists that are in the same boat when they first started.

X Factor a singing competition? It's so much more than that, it's an entertainment show. Singing is a big part of it, but the show itself is so much bigger than the contestants.

 

Regarding Tamera, she just wasn't ready. She has the look and voice of a popstar, but she's just not ready. This whole global superstar thing is bullshit. I can't see her ever having a global career. Everyone said the same about Ella last year? Look how that turned out. She should have gone 1/2 weeks ago when she forgot the words (twice). She has a great voice, but forgetting the words twice is unforgivable. It shows that despite how old she looks, she's just not ready.

 

Glad Luke's gone through. Rough Copy had the rebound vote this week and it would be interesting to see how far they were ahead of Luke. I think he'll have the momentum now to go on and get to the final. If X Factor are going to have a star this year, it's going to be him.

I don't understand all the hate for Rough Copy on here. I don't think they are that bad. In fact I enjoy most of their performances.

 

Nicholas however really must leave next week. He is this years Eoghan Quigg. He will be forgotten about in 6 months. He has no star quality.

I'm glad Tamera hasn't won. She needs proper coaching on her confidence and performance and then she could be one of the biggest stars in the world. Whoever wins this year is clearly going to flop; like most of the past winners have.

No it's not a massive sin, and it does happen from time to time. But for it happen TWICE in TWO weeks shows that she's not ready for it. It's a lack of concentration, or lack of effort to learn the words or just general nerves. None of the other contestants have forgotten their words this series to my knowledge.

 

Nicholas unfortunately has the regional vote behind him. He started off quite well, but he really struggled this week. The producers are trying to throw him under the bus, but not quite sure that will happen. Think him and Sam are givens for the final, unfortunately. Nicholas has not a moment all series where he's been amazing.

I do not care about any of them :(. Sam yes she has a great voice, but that is not enough for me ... and I find it hard to back someone purely because of that, especially when I know her album will most likely be shit and not to my taste at all. Nicholas is Joe McElderry part 2 and Rough Copy are a watered down JLS. Luke is the best out of a very very bad bunch. Meh.

 

Not sure which series was worse, this or last years. How did it go from the brilliance that was Little Mixs year to such f***ing dreadfulness. Hopefully the public wont hate female acts (under 25) next year lol.

Just caught up... 'Burn' was terrible. I THINK Tamera mixing up the words cost her this time :lol: Both the guest performances were dull and lol at James' apology. Not convincing at all!

 

The save me performances though! OMG. Well and TRULY NAILED IT. Both of them. Gary was amazing taking it to deadlock, Louis and Sharon need to stop doing what they were doing. It was awful seeing them do that (and it's not the first time one or the other has done that!). 'Run' is up there with 'Listen', 'First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' & 'The Power of Love' as my favourite performance of the series. Tamera went out on a massive high though. Her best week this week!

Tom Odell, Elton John, The Killers, One Direction (again :/) and Katy Perry are the guests for the final. I assume that's who the contestants will be singing with too?

In a way it could be a blessing in disguise that Tamera hasn't made it. In 10 years of the show only 2 winners have been worthy and globally made it. Leona & Little Mix.

 

She should get a record deal anyway - Go show 'em Tamera.

As for Rough Copy - as their name says they are Rough.

If that little runt Nicholas wins he'll be another Eoghan Quigg or even Joe McEldery, Leon Jackson, or Steve Brookstein - that just have a hit with the winners song then never to be heard of again

 

It now has to be Sam vs Luke in the final.

 

On last night's show James Arthur both looked and sounded really rough.

TBH, the thing that annoys me about the judges now in the bottom two is that they're so STUPID and far too emotional. It's been happening for ages now, but it's getting tiresome. This thing that has emerged with "lol got to stick by my own act" is horrendous. Obviously it's never good to lose one of your acts and admit that they weren't as great as the other, but they should be judging based on THE X FACTOR, the talent and what they see before their eyes. Not somebody they've taken disco skating or bowling in the past couple of weeks.
