So it's not too long now before Celebrity Big Brother comes back, and it looks like AJ Odudu isn't returning to present Bit On The Side:

We're very excited to announce that Carol McGiffin will be joining the Celebrity Big Brother team as head panelist on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Psych.

Carol came fourth in the last series of Celebrity Big Brother and is an experienced broadcaster and journalist. She was most widely known for her time as a regular panelist on Loose Women, which she quit before entering the CBB House last summer.

Carol McGiffin comments: "When I was in the house I was a straight talker, and it will be the same on Bit On The Psych. I'm really looking forward to getting inside the housemates heads and seeing what mates them tick".

Bit On The Psych will air on Saturday nights after the main show and will be co-presented by Rylan Clark and Iain Lee. Iain Lee joined the Big Brother team last summer as a regular panelist on Bit On The Psych. An established radio and television broadcaster, Iain's previous credits include Inside Out London and The 11 O'Clock Show.

Emma Willis and Rylan Clark will return for Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side which will air Monday to Friday after Celebrity Big Brother.

Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 in January.

OF ALL PEOPLE to replace AJ. :/ Still excited for this anyway, even if I preferred the civilian Big Brother during the summer by a fair bit.

Oh ffs, that stops me watching that then.
I'm surprised they've not done away with Iain. Wasn't he suspended for a week in the last series? At least AJ was inoffensive, no matter how much of a novice she was to the job.
I grew to like AJ in the end, but I'd prefer Carol tbh
Well Rylan will be happy, you could tell last year that both him and the producers wanted it to become the Rylan show. :/

I think I'll like Carol as a Bit On The Side person - she was abysmal as a housemate in the end, but I liked her when I saw her on Loose Women and it'll be closer to that for her really.

Hope we get some good people for this! I could see a few 'regular BOTS' on the show, wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Spencer Matthews on there.

Apparently the series will launch with the "biggest launch night twist yet". Interesting, hopefully it's better than last year!
Oo, cannot wait to find out what the twist is. Do we have any idea who's going to be in it?
Apparently Ronnie O'Sullivan is one of the front-runners to go in, but Paul O'Grady has said he wants to go in as well ().

PLEASE not PO'G :puke:

I heard Jo Frost was going in

I no longer buy the "biggest twist ever" bullshit that they spin out year on year and it's an anti-climax year or year.

And warning to Jack ahead of him saying anything; don't get excited about any big diva American that's rumoured, it's probably won't happen, don't get your hopes up again :(

Oh. And apparently they want Katie Hopkins to go in. If she did, that would be quite torturous. :drama:

omg Jo Frost yes please

I really want Rustie Lee to go in though, she's been on BOTS many times already and her laugh is one of the best things ever

She definitely seems like certain CBB fodder, as with Samantha Brick.

Don't worry I have learnt my lesson by now after Janice and Natalie :(.
