Unpopular opinion, but I prefer the normal Big Brother show, to the Celebrity ones. I just want my new standard BB fix. Far too many Celebrity spin off things nowadays :(

I think most do. I prefer going into it with no prior opinion so I'm not biased with my favourites (as I was with Charlotte, who I was going to love and support regardless because I knew her beforehand).

I think I'm in broad agreement with everyone on regular BB being better than CBB but the celebrity version is a lot shorter, which, for someone with a short-term attention span for these things is a big plus.

I can't speak for all series' but I much preferred the regular BB in the summer to CBB. Everyone just wanted to go home in CBB and didn't give a damn about being entertaining, cause they were getting paid regardless.
Normal BB is MUCH better. The celebrity can be good, but it very much depends on who's in there. Of course that's the case for the civilian version too, but like Joseph said in the celebrity one they get paid anyway so they often moan more, plus it's not long enough. Just as you begin to get used to people and they start showing their true colours, it's suddenly the final! Whereas on the civilian version, they're more interested in a great experience/making friends and/or fame, so a lot of them are far bigger characters on the show and it's far more entertaining.

Loving the look of the house! :o

PLEASE no one from TOWIE though <_< (although Gemma would be fun)

Evander Holyfield and RuPaul (a drag queen apparently? idk how that equates to celebrity, but I might be missing something) are the latest rumours.

RuPaul? LOL.

He does this reality show for drag queens in the US, probably the token big American character that turns out to be untrue or a crap signing in reality.

Alan Fletcher from Neighbours is also rumoured to be going in.

Completely off topic but I got an e-mail from Big Brother.

One set of odds to go in the house:

16/1 Nigella Lawson

25/1 Charles Saatchi

100/1 Nigella Lawson & Charles Saatchi

Sam Callahan is also rumoured to be going in.

Will probably be a most definite. X Factor rejects seem to now make a habit of going in (Frankie, Jedward, Rylan)

If Sam does end up going in then I definitely see him in with a shot of winning. Rylan and Frankie both proved that by coming 1st and 2nd in their respective series.

I knew he'd be rumoured as soon as he became the 'controversial' stay but unlike the tree XF-to-BB that precede him, it wasn't his personality that really got him there so I don't think he's as likely to go in. If he does, I'm sure he'd do well, most didn't really have a problem with him as a person, just his questionable singing abilities.

Agreed. He does genuinely seem like a nice person. I think if he were to go in he would win a lot of people over as we'd probably discover new layers of his personality. Although there probably would be a select amount of people that would dislike him with a pre-conceived opinion from The X Factor.

I'm not sure he would be so liked in all honesty  He gave off quite full-of-himself vibes and Big Brother never warms to that, but I'd like to be proven wrong.
He seemed like an alright guy, nothing winner worthy but I'm sure he'd do ok. And anyway I guess we can't judge that given that it's a singing contest not a personality one so he might be totally different! That's the good thing about CBB, you learn so much about the celebrities and completely different sides to them.
Guess who just made his video for Big Brother this summer. (And no, no one is seeing it).

I think he'd be engineered quite carefully not to show that side off - I'm pretty sure most celebrities are sort of told by management roughly how to act. I'm sure Sam would be the same and would show off the more likeable side of his personality.
