If Sam C was here we could have had a Shatnerified Rocket Man cover, now THAT would have been amazing.

ROCK-ET.........MAN

I love that they constantly try and do everything possible to make his performances look interesting (and fail, every time).

Luke Friend - Best Thing I Never Had | 10/10

Nicholas McDonald - Halo | 0/10

Sam Bailey - If I Were A Boy | 10/10

Rough Copy - Survivor | 0.5/10

Nicholas McDonald - Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me | 0.5/10

MILES BETTER. Actually a song that really really suits him and he attacked that a lot better. Hoping a mixture of the sympathy votes, Scotland and that being really really good can get him through to the final! 9.5/10
ONE good thing about Independence would mean NO SCOTTISH VOTE (hopefully)

I'm pretty sure they would still be able to vote, as Ireland is allowed to vote (I think?).

Nicholas' performances are so boring :( Can he please leave this week? (Unlikely)

I'm thinking he will actually. I can see him and Luke (again) bottom 2, somehow I can see Rough Copy making it through :manson:

I'd imagine.

Nicholas McDonald (Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me) - Much better vocally than the first, however it was very bland and the high notes just weren't there in the way they should be. Joe McElderry did it so much better. - 5.0/10.0

Beyonce Round:

Sam Bailey - 7.5

Rough Copy - 6.5

Luke Friend - 6.0

Nicholas McDonald - 0.5

Elton Round:

Nicholas McDonald - 5.0

Nicholas has NO stage presence whatsoever. Why is this never picked up on? They've said he lacked emotion but they've never said to him how much of a WET BLANKET he truly is. Honestly hope he's gone this week. We've suffered him far too long :drama:

Well NI is, but RoI aren't. I can only assume it would be the same with Scotland given they would then be a different country. This is all theoretical though and a bit too HEAVY for an X Factor thread.

My current levels of interest in the contestants out of 10
