December 15, 201312 yr Great to see 'Hey Brother' in the top two :cheer:, hopefully it will reach No1 in the New Year!
December 15, 201312 yr Well at least Jameela is pretty so she could go into modelling if radio doesn't work out anymore
December 15, 201312 yr Kelly Clarkson stalled at 46 Other Christmas songs Boyle/Presley at 48 Slade at 49 Shaky at 54 Band Aid at 57 Chris Rea at 61 Brenda Lee at 63 Andy Williams at 90 Darkness at 97
December 15, 201312 yr Glad we have some stability at the top of chart instead of the constant no1 rotation. I actually like low sales lol we see how songs rise up the charts instead of new releases like Calvin Harris jumping in at no 1 and falling like a stone!Agreed! This the first song to have 2 consecutive weeks since September! Pleased to see a song hang on for once.
December 15, 201312 yr Kelly Clarkson stalled at 46 I really think this could have been a hit if she was able to promote it in the UK. Should hopefully enter top 40 next week anyway.
December 15, 201312 yr Updated the album chart post as Robbie's track with Olly has reached another new peak this week!
December 15, 201312 yr Updated the album chart post as Robbie's track with Olly has reached another new peak this week! It asks the question 'why did Robbie choose Dream a Little Dream over I Wanna Be Like You as the single?' Strange decision considering the latter is clearly more popular
December 15, 201312 yr So Tim was ahead of Lilly on itunes for most of the week, significantly by the end of the week and yet she still trounced him. It looks like itunes is no longer a reliable source for the prediction of the final chart. I think other sources are overtaking itunes, the Google play store is probably now a significant factor.

I think it's more likely that Lily just sold a lot of physicals at the weekend. Note that Lily is #3 on the digital chart with Avicii at #1 and Leona #2.

Not really. She had physical sales which are disproportionately important over the Christmas period making iTunes ,temporarily ,not the chart barometer it usually is.
December 15, 201312 yr Not really. She had physical sales which are disproportionately important over the Christmas period making iTunes ,temporarily ,not the chart barometer it usually is. And Lily has three versions on iTunes, two in the top 100 and one in the top 200.
