December 21, 201311 yr The Beatles and Abba, must have several, and here's some that come to mind: The Beatles: Twist And Shout Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds The Long And Winding Road Abba: Eagle Hasta Manana Honey Honey
December 21, 201311 yr Practically all of The Beatles' songs, singles and album tracks, are well-known to some degree so there are probably tens of examples of their songs that could fit this.

December 21, 201311 yr Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin One Way or Another by Blondie Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
December 22, 201311 yr ..Van Morrison's 'Brown Eyed Girl' which only charted for the first time this year. Same situation for Lou Reed's Perfect Day
December 30, 201311 yr So it's singles that didn't make the UK Top 75. So that rules out Brown Eyed Girl as it charted for three weeks this year :(
December 31, 201311 yr Men At Work - Who Can It Be Now? ... I'd have sworn it was a smash, but it only peaked outside the top 40 which is weird cause it's such a classic.

January 3, 201411 yr I thought this was their best song as well. :( I was annoyed when it got cancelled. Same here, always thought You Are would have been a hit if released as a single. Great song.
January 3, 201411 yr Well I've heard barely any of those songs! Surprised at no '9 to 5' or 'Summer of 69'.
January 3, 201411 yr Alphaville - Forever Young Modern Talking - You're My Heart, You're My Soul Pat Benatar - Love Is A Battlefield Outfield - Your Love Tracy Chapman - Baby Can I Hold You Tonight HIM - Join Me In Death Shocking that Love Is A Battlefield was never a hit, a staple radio play hit to this day on the stations that play it. Pat Benatar's biggest song but not it seems her biggest hit, that must fall to 1988's All Fired Up another great track. Tracy Chapman's Baby Can I Hold You, it's a crime that this was never a Top 40 hit, she only made it with Fast Car. Does well on radio still to this day.
January 3, 201411 yr Albert Hammond - It never rains in Southern California was a flop but should have charted Welcome to the Money House by Animal Magnet was big in the clubs in the 80s but failed to chart. Also, Kiss Me (original version) by Tin Tin should have been a big hit. Great track Welcome to the Monkey House, picked up the 7" for 50p last year from my local music exchange. I remember it getting played a lot on a local pirate station in 1989.

January 3, 201411 yr They could have easily done another three hour show as there are soo many great songs that have never charted.
