I read about that, and his response on Twitter was just... hilarious. Trying to say that he doesn't smile *all* the time - well hun if you were genuinely happy to be meeting fans and happy to be where you were TELL YOUR FUCKING FACE THAT.

Tbf at least they are doing the effort of meeting their fans to begin with but that video and those tweets really make Liam dislikable

 

It's funny and everything but the video went viral and in a bad way, I can't even at him basically just hogging up their entire cellphones and grabbing it out their hands what a queen

Haha yes, his response is the funniest thing about it all. The video makes it look like taking photos with fans is a chore that he doesn't want to be doing and his excuse is just pants. In what way does 'all the time' compare to two seconds between photos. The idiot.

Have you guys ever worked in retail? Honestly, it is actually a lot harder to fake a smile and keep going (especially to those who are knobs to you - I know, these aren't "knobs" and that they're fans) than you would think. SO MUCH EFFORT at times haha, especially to those who are annoying! (Which, screaming girls day in, day out WOULD be annoying).

 

I actually feel pretty bad for him. I think I'd do the same! (Although I haven't read his comments via twitter, but I can imagine them being bad in the sense that he tried to get himself out of the hole, but just dug deeper and deeper! :lol:)

I work in hospitality so know what you mean haha, but he basically fake smiled right in front of all of them to see, whereas if you work in retail or whatever you'd wait for the customer to stop looking at you before dropping the fake smile

At least he'll come within a considerable distance of them unlike Avril Lavigne I guess, looking on the bright side :lol:

Liam has always been under appreciated by the fan base. You'll see alot of positive Niall & Louis comments in videos where they've sung horribly but hardly any for him. The group rely on him heavily when they sing live (harmonies over the weak singers like Louis who can't sing) & to speak alot during interviews. I remember him carrying the group through the live shows in X Factor as well.

 

His voice is insane as evidenced in vids like this so he'd have no problems going solo...

Saying you're not gay isn't homophobic, sorry. I can see why he gets annoyed with people twisting his words like that. & that whole selfie thing, another mountain out of a mole hill. It's all a bit ridiculous.

 

 

Liam's not homophobic at all, he's just very clumsy on his words.

We've been over this road before, but whether he's bad with words or not, saying that a certain photo was "weird"... it's just not very tasteful.

I agree that it's not very tasteful, but as far as I can tell it was just a slip of the tongue. He seems quite level-headed (despite the poor excuses he gives) and if he were homophobic, I doubt he'd be stupid enough to show it.

ok now that matter is done with let's concentrate on his talent...
