Poor 'Timber' already off #1 by Wednesday :drama:

John Newman is becoming as omni-present as Emeli Sandé was eighteen months ago.

I disagree, 'Love Me Again' is quite omnipresent at the moment but Emeli's domination was with multiple songs and over a much longer period of time.

~

'Wake Me Up' is back down to #12, re-overtaken by Gary Barlow after his performance on the BBC New Year coverage. Sadly means Fuse ODG is down to #13 :(

Yeah, I guess. But at least Emeli could sing live and put some emotion into it. Newman's live voice is just boring.

I've always thought her voice is a bit mediocre tbh. She really struggles with some of the high notes in 'Clown' in particular.

So happy with Gary Barlow back in the top 10. I hope timber had built up enough of lead at the beginning of the week to get the official number 1.
Kylie has announced new single "Into The Blue" :cheer: Premiering Jan 20 or Jan 27 for those that don't visit the artist forums.

I thought she might being on the Voice this yr ;)

I predict Fuse ODG will end up between 17-20, Control will be 21-30 position & Timber will be no1 because of his preorders. It'll be interesting to see how much of a lead Happy can perhaps build now?!

Edited by steve201

Pharrell to claim back the #1 almost certainly next week then. Only new releases really that could challenge the T40 (not even T10 really) are Nelly ("All Around The World"), Hardwell ("Dare You") and Ray Foxx ("Firework").

looks like the pre-order for 'Dare You' hasn't done much, but it could well reach the top 40 due to low sales. the new Ray Foxx song might reach the top 400 if it's lucky

Hopefully Kylie will be charting early February, always nice to see Kylie back in the charts, i hope into the blue is a strong lead single and if it could as well as All the Lovers did it would be great. If she releases the album at the right time she may achieve her 6th number 1 album which would be great.
If the premieres in late jan won't she hold it back for a big top 10 debut?
I'm interested to see how Kylie will do, I have a feeling she's going to struggle for radio support this time and Aphrodite was almost 4 years ago now. :( I see no reason why she can't get a top 10 single ala 'Work Bitch' though.

I'm not sure, since she had some songs recently which got put up for download straight away.

Yea if she's holds it back she should debut top 10 but as you say r2 will play her but not radio 1!
^^Thought it'd be like that not sure Kylie would do well on air she would be top 20 for one week the drop without rasio1/capital airplay!
