Stop ruining the surprise for yourselves  (there is more than that don't worry). And it does seem like right up your street Calum literally.

Had you signed up from the very beginning Mr.

SOLID CHOICE. Although admittedly I initially thought it was one of my favourite ever films and did a little squeal. NEVERMIND.

Intrigued at what you thought it was...?

Because I am such a nice person/cultural philistine I have decided to sign up to this because Bal asked me so nicely/I need some more cultural education.

I saw a grand total of one new film in 2013, and I am not a fan of any genre in particular but if you're forcing me, I'd say Comedy.

My Favourite Film is Mean Girls. I am not very easily impressed.

Favourite Film Genre: Horror/Action/Comedy

Least Favourite Film Genre: Western

How often do you watch films: 5+ a week

What are you most looking forward to in the Film Club: Watching movies I'd probably not considered watching before and getting to have good discussions about them.

The Truman Show was what I thought at first glance too, but then I looked closer and realised the correct answer.

Oh I know what it is. I cheated and google image searched ;)

Never heard of it, but it sounds interesting.

I can't get the image big enough to work out what it is so I think I'd better withdraw my membership application to the BJ Film Club.

Do what I did. Cheat. Save the image and use the search by image facility on Google. It'll find it for you ;)

I'll give this a shot!

Favourite Film | Cars

Favourite Film Genre | Comedy / Animation

Least Favourite Film Genre | Slasher horror

How often do you watch films? | 2 or 3 times a week

What are you most looking forward to in the Film Club? | Being introduced to more great films

Cars? Wow, genuinely never met anyone who LIKES that one (in the context of Pixar films, anyway) let alone rates it as their favourite film.

I believe I've previously advertised my love for that film quite well, obviously not enough. It just hits THAT spot for me, I adore it. Also, quite close to it are Bridesmaids, the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and Brokeback Mountain!

Ooh yes, I'll join.

Favourite Film: Irreversible.

Favourite Film Genre: Thrillers and anything that messes with your mind.

Least Favourite Film Genre: RomComs, Horror, anything with no substance for the masses to eat up. (**how hipster of me**) Oh, and films with only black people targeted only at black people.

How often do you watch films: Not often enough. I think I watched 2 in the last 3 months?

What are you most looking forward to in the Film Club: Get my cinema culture up to date. So many classics I have not yet watched.

First official thread coming ANY MINUTE NOW.

This thread will remain open so anybody new that wishes to join just sign up here. It's important that you do actually sign up because if we're unable to provide links for films we will need to PM them directly to you so it's useful to have a full member-base at hand.
