Sam Bailey already out of the T40 then. That would be embarrassing at any time of year, but doubly so when the market itself is declining and there are hardly any new entries.
It's looking like for the 3rd time in 4 years there will be a song peaking at #4 for 3+ weeks over the end of one year and the start of the next (Katy B 'Lights On' for 3 weeks in 2010/11, Rihanna 'Stay' for 4 weeks in 2012/13 and Jason Derulo 'Trumpets' for potentially 4 weeks in 2013/14).

That is an amazingly specific stat. I love buzzjack.

Chart stats are only fun when they're pointlessly specific.

Thought Jake Buggs album would have risen higher considering the low album sales!
I hope Sam Bailey can at the least manage one successful album and get a 2nd on the back of it, sometimes the winners singles can be mis-leading in terms of future success so time will tell when it comes to Sam.
Yeah she might do well at certain times with certain markets!

~mini update~

Pharrell now on 62.8k, 20.9k ahead of Pitbull. Top 4 singles are non-movers with Elyar Fox at #5 and Shakira now up to #10. Other top 40 entries for Tinie Tempah/Labrinth (#34), Bastille's 'Pompeii' (re-entry at #36) and Beyoncé's 'XO' (#38).

On the album chart Bruce Springsteen is up to 35.5k with a 22.4k lead over Ellie. Beyoncé and Bastille still at 3 and 4, Gary Barlow now back up to #5. James Vincent McMorrow still the only other new entry top 40 at #16, though DVS is just outside the top 40 with 'London Boy American Dreaming'.

Think Happy had sold 67k by last fridays update so hes well on course for his biggest week yet!
I dont mind because Happy has increased in sales which has made up for it plus Clean Bandit is coming next week :)
The whole top 5 are going to be non-movers on Sunday aren't they? :( Such staleness. When was the last time that happened?

W/E 30/07/2011 (the top 5 were The Wanted 'Glad You Came', DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans 'Louder', Ed Sheeran 'The A Team', Beyoncé 'Best Thing I Never Had' and Loick Essien feat. Tanya Lacey 'How We Roll').

I imagine this has happened on the US Billboard Hot 100 tens of times since that date

It actually looks possible Jason Derulo could overtake Avicii to #3, he is now ahead on iTunes and not far behind in the mids.

You wouldn't happen to know the sales between Elyar and #6 (assumably Fuse) would you? ^_^ (I'm guessing not, but I'm still new to this lol.)

I have a feeling the weekend will swing more in Avicii's favour though, which could make all the difference.

Mids are in Pharrell passes 500,000 :o

And someone is messing about with the site, not now please.
