I have been buying my albums digitally now for the past 2 years and am in the process of selling all my cd's and wondered what other music lovers thought.

Physicals without a doubt. Will download the odd album but I end up buying it on CD when it's cheap anyway (e.g. Paramore - Paramore, and Ellie Goulding - Bright Lights).

Both really, as I buy mine on CD which is a physical product comprised of digital data files.

I've not downloaded a single album as of yet.

Both, but, I don't know why people think download an album is stupid (other forums), A LOT of people now use iphones for music, if I had no car (where is the only place i listen to physical albums) I wouldn't buy physical's.

Physical. In my whole life I think I have downloaded a grand total of...5 albums. And 2 of them were digital only.
Physical. The odd song I download but I like to be able to hold albums in my hands.
I now just download albums, it saves the chance of the disc getting scratched, plus it's stored on my iTunes cloud.

I still buy most - the vast majority in fact - of my albums on CD.

The only problem is I'm buying less albums these days.

I can see a day soon when all I buy is on digital only.

If it hadn't been for amazon introducing autorip a couple of years ago I would have already made the move to digital only.

With autorip I have been able to obtain both the CD and the digital version of an album for the same price as the digital version but have been able to sell the CD version (often unplayed) and save myself money. If amazon was to stop the autorip feature then it would be digital all the way for me.

Have a lot of physical albums but I usually try and buy them digitally nowadays.
Always physical, call me old fashioned but to me that's the way albums should be!
I buy them physically as if I am spending like 8 quid on a download I'd rather pay an extra pound and have something to hold, artwork to look at, something that won't be lost if if iTunes ever goes byebye
In the last 2 years the only CDs I've bought have been from second hand or charity shops. I don't see that there's any point or advantage to a CD.

This argument holds no weight any more as you can re-download anything from iTunes, Amazon or 7Digital that you've paid for previously.

Most of the albums I buy physically, the only time I download is probably when I like just a few tracks on the album, yes... I cherry pick -_-
Neither. Streaming FTW :D But the last few albums I bought before my switch were digital so I voted that.
CD unless it's a bargain download new album offer, or a mega-download 100 Hits of the 70's, 40 greatest hits for £4 type-thing
