He's back with a new song that will be coming out exclusively to Beatport this January 20 on Jack Back records, but he'll probably give it a UK push too in a few months. Right now we only have a 20 second teaser of it but from that alone we can tell it's inspired by Nancy Sinatra's 'Bang Bang', and that he's jumping on the 'Animals' bandwagon.

 

 

Thoughts so far? I can already tell it's gonna be good, it's like a more up-to-date version of the Audio Bullys track from nearly 10 years ago.

Not my cup of tea. I love Guetta, but this isn't his style.

 

This is my thing - when the drop hits, there's no music. The build up from "my baby shot me down....down....down....." is epic, but I just feel the drop falls flat. I feel like the beat needs to have a melody layered over it, rather than just relying on the beat, Garrix-style.

Maybe it will grow on me, but I'm not a huge fan right now.

Audio Bullys's song was very successful as well though. And Where Them Girls At didn't do THAT well. It's not like every David Guetta single is guaranteed to be massive. I Can Only Imagine, She Wolf and that other song he released did well, but not exceptionally well.

Titanium was huge, Where Them Girls At was reasonably well, Turn Me On did okay, Play Hard did well, especially as the last single from the campaign!

 

From the album before Sexy Bitch, When Love Takes Over etc were big!
