"Turn Up The Radio" was lazy and boring. "Into The Blue" has so much more energy!

Duke Dumont and Little Mix are releasing in the same week, can't help but think they'll push this back one week.
It's Kylie Minogue, of course it will go top 10 at least!
I think definitely top 10. If they get the release correct, it could easily debut inside the top 3. I voted for number 2, though would like it to go to number 1 as it is really catchy and just what the chart needs at the moment.
Low top 10, similar chart run to 'Work Bitch'.

I agree. I very much doubt Radio 1 will playlist it if Robbie was seen as too old for them.

I've gone for No 4, It'll probably be top 3 in the midweeks then trail off slightly though I'd love to be proved wrong!
Ideally #1, I've got a hunch she might get a week if sales are low, she could make a big comeback with a #1 single, had a few surprises last year, PJ & Duncan anyone.

I think it's too early to predict yet, although there seems to have been a strong reaction to 'Into the Blue' so far.

The chart run of 'Work Bitch' did come into mind but that had no performances for a start. Perhaps I'm being delusional but I'd like to think it would do better than that considering Kylie has The Voice and will surely be doing numerous performances.

I want it to go to number 1 but I think it will reach number 8 with the help of the Voice and a physical CD....
Ooh! Another Kylie track I'm completely on board with! Very good! But I think this can hope "to do a 'Boomerang', by Scherzinger" at best. Hopefully radio 1 end up backing it and it becomes more of a 'Disco Love' sort of hit.

Yet Pharrell is in his 40's and has had a recording career since 2001. They need to get over that age barrier already.

Ah, but Pharrell is the right colour genre...

Careful there.....

Careful there.....

I know, I know - just another of my controversial (and probably unfounded) theories - that radio 1's 'age-bar' applies more to white artists...

And just to save the moderators the trouble... :offtopic:

;)

This is a great comeback for Kylie but I think she could release the best song in the world and still not get a #1, it's just the cruel way the world works. I'm hoping she'll go Top 5 though!

Ha, yes but my point is if 'Slow' was released at this stage of her career it wouldn't go anywhere near Number 1.
Into the Blue is very Kylie but very different. Good on her, it deserves number 1 whether it will make it or not remains to be seen.
