OOH! I quite like that tracklisting, I think it's their best effort for a few albums.

CD1 is miles better than CD2 but on the whole, it's very good. ^_^

Disc 1 is great, Disc 2 isn't too good but I think I'll buy this one as I haven't bought the last two and their is a good mix I suppose. Nice too see newer tracks such as P!nk, Selena Gomez, Sebastien Ingrosso and Iggy Azalea make it. Obviously, Macklemore won't allow their songs on the Now's. Would have liked to have seen the new Lawson track on their but oh well.

When did they start including songs that haven't been released yet?
When did they start including songs that haven't been released yet?

They've always done it as long as their released before the album is released. I think Swedish House Mafia's 'One (Your Name)' is the only exception where the song was released after it appeared on a Now! album.

Mad World was on Now 56 about a month before its single release.
So was Groovejet on Now 46!
And they both still managed to top the charts with incredible sales against stiff competition.

I didn't bother with the last one as it just wasn't very inspiring, I quite like the tracklisting on here though. Particularly great to see the big guitar hits on here, would've been rather suspicious for them to ignore a few of them anyway, but they've never been the most guitar friendly album.

The start of Disc 2 is literally HELL ON EARTH though, I fear I may mistake it for listening to Kiss FM :drama:

But the music on Kiss FM is amazing.

:(

CD 1 is amazing. Great to see Pink and the 1975 included. I don't know what half of you are on, there used to always be unreleased songs on Nows. It's not so evident these days but its nothing new.

Quite a decent tracking list, although I'm not sure about the Selena Gomez inclusion, are they just thinking it will be a hit due to the recent success similar artists Bridget and Demi have had? I can't think of any songs left off the tracking list which really should be on there, aside from Macklemore who is seemingly doing a Madonna or Eminem.

I'm so amazed at that tracklsiting! I really had my doubts about Daft Punk & Justin Timberlake, but NOW really pulled it out with 85! Shame Mariah & J.Lo aren't on here, but you can't win them all. I'm hoping they make a "NOW Divas" album and put both of them on that
They've always done it as long as their released before the album is released. I think Swedish House Mafia's 'One (Your Name)' is the only exception where the song was released after it appeared on a Now! album.

They did it alot in the early naughties. The ones I remember are:

Now 45 - Madison Avenue - Don't Call Me Baby

Now 46 - Spiller - Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)

Now 49 - Da Hool - Meet Her At The Love Parade 2001 - This was out the same week as Now 49, so I'm counting it :P

Now 50 - Kate Windslet - What If

Now 52 - Mad'House - Like A Prayer & Intenso Project - Luv Da Sunshine

Now 56 - Michael Andrews & Gary Jules - Mad World

Now 65 - El Chombo - Chacarron

Now 68 - Se:Sa Feat. Sharon Phillips - Like This, Like That

Those are the ones I remember, but as you can see most are dance hits that were probably on Clubland type compilations before release anyway.

'Bang Bang' is a notable exception but maybe they're waiting for the Leah McFall version to be released so they can put it on Now 86. Otherwise pretty good, whoever said Get Lucky was a definite to open was bang on :) Pleasantly surprised to see Iggy, Psy and (er) PJ & Duncan on there too!

Pretty strong tracklisting, although I guess the likes of When I Was Your Man, Stay, Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us will never be on a Now :o Surprising for Rihanna to miss with a big hit single, it should have been on the last one with Diamonds on the one before that! And no idea why Macklemore are 'doing a Madonna' but aren't they on their own independent label? They must be refusing to give the rights as I haven't noticed them on any foreign compilations either. Shame about #Beautiful but I didn't really expect to see it on there, likewise Only Teardrops but it was a bit of a flash in the pan.

Loads of new stuff on there, which I think will have all been released by the time this album comes out. Strange positioning for The 1975, would have been better swapping places with Gabz on Disc 1, which screams tacked on at the last minute in an inappropriate place (does it really flow from Paramore/Imagine Dragons?). PJ and Duncan will stick out like a sore thumb too but I'm glad it's on there. I take it Pharrell getting the opening two tracks on Disc 1 is the first time this has happened?
