I agree, recently I've had NOW 69 in the car and I've been playing it loads. It's great, I love NOW 73 too

I was adding it to my iTunes, and I was looking at the tracklisting and there are some amazing Pop Gems on there. The only thing missing is Feedback by Janet Jackson

I stumbled across Start Without You by Alexandra Burke on my iPod the other day and found it weird that I'd completely erased its existence from my mind. I can only conclude that I did that because it wasn't on a Now album, has it appeared on ANY random compilation? Such a strange #1 looking back, it wouldn't even go top 100 now!

Also Bad Boys never featured. It still seems pretty odd but Syco obviously didn't want to give her big hits away to a compilation.

It shouldn't have gone top 100 then. Even at the time I expected it to barely go top 10 IIRC, it getting to #1 was quite disgusting (for 2 weeks as well).

I think it's on one of those Pop Princesses albums.

'Start Without You' is still amazing. I will not hear another word said against it :( (Although seriously, it's basically her 'Swagger Jagger', isn't it? Everyone else hates it, but I adore it (even though I know it's bad) etc..)
I like that it felt like her ode to Playdays.

I think a lot of people like Start Without You ironically.

I really wish we were rating more Now albums :(

I thought there was more rates to come?

There are, but only seven more.

There are, but only seven more.
They've been quite popular so far, if it stays that way for seven more weeks you might have a case for extending it further?

Hopefully. I really enjoy doing it actually.

Extend it!

Currently listening to NOW 73, another amazing NOW album. Girls Aloud & Katy Perry are some of my fave choices from this one

Are we doing Now 50?

Yes, we are!

(I think we are anyway)

Good, I look forward to rating it, and seeing what tracks go down well with fellow Buzzjackers. :) Now 50 is one of the best for me, and also an interesting one too, I think.

It's the only Now album to feature a Travis and 5ive single, even though both acts have had hits previous to Now 50, and after in Travis' case, and was the first Now album to feature a Daft Punk, Westlife, Wyclef Jean and Jennifer Lopez track even though they had had already been churning out hits for years before.

It features N-Trance's Set You Free for the second time, which was re-released again in 2001 thanks to the Rob Searle remix, but Now 50 featured the original version.

It's also the last time Jamiroquai, Destiny's Child, The Lighthouse Family, Misteeq, Wheatus, Eve and Bob The Builder featured on a Now CD.

It was due to it being the 50th edition or Hits doing a deal with Now to put songs from their respective record companies on both of the albums (Hits 50 and Now 50). MAYBE. I don't know really.

Coming out on the 23rd July :cheer: Finally! I hope they actually put some thought and effort into this one

I hope they don't try to cram the Fray on to it like they do for an awful lot of these spin offs.
