I've only played the album in full but the gaps between songs on disc 2 especially are almost none existent.

I guess they had to squeeze them all on. But that doesn't bother me, the Clubland albums do that, but once you tick the overlap part on iTunes it doesn't make a world of difference to me ^_^

I don't mind it either. It's quite good for times like getting ready for a night out. Sort of keeps up the momentum if that makes sense.
The first second of Saturday Night is a bit distorted for some reason but the rest of the album is really great, brilliant tracklist and sequencing.

Yes, on my CD the first note is a strange distorted sound that I don't remember from the single but no worries.

If they could get rights to all the million-sellers, obviously they wouldn't include Gary Glitter and doubt they'd get the rights to the Beatles songs.

Really enjoying my triple CD anyway. Just Disc 3 to play tomorrow.

I noticed that too, they're not mixed in or anything but there's zero gap between songs.

Impressive! Not sure that I'll buy it though, there's about 10 other interesting looking albums out on the same day...!
Good tracklist, but I very much doubt I'll buy this for myself. My Mum and Dad on the other hand would love this album.

Yes, NOW 89  I have to say it's a bit too boring for my liking. I may add this to my Xmas wishlist, 'cos I don't wanna spend my money on that really.

P.S.

I want no judgement for a Glitter single appearing on disc 2! #QueenMariah. Other than that, my version of NOW 49 is pretty similar to the original album. It was one of my faves back in the day (along with NOW 50) so I didn't want to change much ^_^

Wow! That's a pretty decent track listing. I own some of the old South African NOWs and they are really good. I wish I could find a reliable place to buy the newer ones.

ALSO! Another NOW Spin-off comes to us on the 8th December. "The Very Best of NOW Dance" (not to be confused with the 2005 & 2010 version). I'm looking forward to this, the NOW team know how to make a good Dance album! Disco, 80's Dance, 90's Dance, Club Hits & Club Hits 2014 are amazing (and The Very Best of NOW Dance 2010 is one of my fave NOW Spin-Offs ever).

I wonder what will be on it.

That tracklist is incredible!

But it's the same cover as Now 51 in the US earlier in the year

http://image.mp3.zdn.vn/covers/6/3/6353669ac00a987b86d917e492d708fa_1407676850.jpg

So it is, I guess it looks more impressive to me without all the ugly text taking over the cover
I've relented and gone in for a couple more of the Years Download collections. Now have 2000 and 1997.

Got NOW 90s this week and I must say, it's incredibly good! Even though it's not the most inspired track listing in the world, it flows well and there's some amazing pop classics  Plus the design of the cover and discs are awesome!
