I'm honestly so shocked as to how Only the Young finished bottom of the public vote on Saturday night. They gave by far the best performance of the night, both energy and vocals-wise. Such a shame that they're out so soon, I hope they get signed as they're one of my favourite groups that this show has ever produced.
Stereo Kicks are lil low key c**ts tbh. I hate them. Stevi not going was a joke, I could have dealt if Only The Young lost to Andrea but for them to come bottom ... really?
Tbh it would have been nice to hear OTY do a sing off, because their last was woeful so it would have been good to see them redeem themselves even if they still went home.
I think if someone other than Stevi had gone last night, OTY may well have gone over him in the sing off (assuming they were still bottom and there too, obv)
Was Andrea's Chandelier a 'moment'? Simon was very keen to deflect and tell everyone Ben was better straight after to dampen things but the youtube video for Chandelier has by far the most views of last week, in fact Andrea's Chandelier has more views than both of Fleur's performances put together.
I'd say that's down to the song as much as anything else. I definitely wouldn't call it a 'moment' because it didn't feel like something WOW, it was just a case of him doing what he usually does with a modern song rather than a slightly older one.

I think for a lot of the GP it was a moment, Andrea showing off a great falsetto and doing it to a modern song. It is increasing youtube views still way faster than any other song from Saturday, which would tell me now that people are repeat viewing it rather than just catching up.

It was most certainly a moment for me, a real punch the sky 'GO ON SON' kinda moment when it kicked in, the best performance of the series imo. Yes, it is because of the song, but because it was a case of everything coming together instead of your typical overplayed ballad. Genius choice.

 

If it was only because people like Chandelier, surely Ben's Thinking Out Loud performance would be raking in the views too given it's the most popular song in the country right now...

I think Andrea did much better last week than anyone on here gave him credit for. He has the top 2 videos on youtube views from last week.
I still think Andrea could win actually. If he pulls off a week like this one in the semi and the final, it's not out of the realms of possibility at all! I'd still say Ben is most likely, but it's so close I think it could easily just come down to the performances of the next two weeks.

Unlikely. He's just bounced back like Amelia did in 2011; after being in the bottom two she topped the vote, then dropped to third for the semi- and final. I really don't want either him or Ben to win and it's looking less and less likely of Lauren even making the final so a Fleur win would be the best (and most deserved) for me.
