February 14, 201411 yr The iconic quen of x factor Nicole Scherzinger leaving? Boo :( I would welcome a Cheryl comeback though, her and Simon returning would give the show the big ratings boost that it needs.
February 14, 201411 yr Would it give a ratings boost? Apart from Simon no-one calls for Cheryl to come back. Keep Sharon!!
February 14, 201411 yr I think the return of Cheryl would bring in a LOAD of viewers  Not sure why you think it wouldn't, personal opinions aside.
February 15, 201411 yr If Cheryl returns, she will look weak. After what Simon did to her I would never return if it was me, but then again she probably needs the money... Dannii to replace Nicole? And wasn't the last series Louis last? But then again he says that every year Agreed. What he did was unforgivable, especially when she was the star of those early shows, the U.S loved her. He cost her a U.S singing career. She shouldn't go back. I won't be watching as I don't like the man.
February 16, 201411 yr Looks like Olly Murs could be a judge now. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...ctor-judge.html

February 16, 201411 yr Author Looks like Olly Murs could be a judge now. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...ctor-judge.htmlYES! He is EXACTLY what the show is needing in regards to being a judge! I do hope it's true!! Oh and Dann, it's silly to say she won't bring in viewers just because of how poorly her last did...
February 16, 201411 yr Olly Murs is not what the show needs. It'll be a bit difficult watching him telling other people how to master the art of breaking the industry when he's yet to put out a good, solid album himself and relish having experience behind him aside from "i know how it feels babe, I did this a few years ago".

He's put out 3 of them. 2 of which have sold over a million copies in the UK. He is in a very good position to offer advice on how to break the industry.

Try looking at it from an unbiased point. Whether you like him/his music or not, he is easily one of the most successful artists in the industry today (obviously on a UK scale) and has consistently released 3 HUGE albums! His most recent album becoming his biggest selling album and reaching a million sales quicker than his second album did, thus making it obvious his popularity is ever growing. He's obviously liked by majority of the public, has had rave reviews on his presenting work on the Xtra Factor and for an X Factor alumni, is deemed pretty credible and if he is on the panel it'll be a major scoop for the show, imo. He's relevant both to the show/knowing how it works and actually still being successful.

While giving my personal opinion on him becoming a judge or not (why wouldn't it be personal after all; am I to give somebody else's opinion?), I also stated that he has little experience in comparison to the likes of Simon, Louis and Cheryl (if she is returning). It's not really about the statistics and whether he's sold X or Y amount of albums or whether he's one of the most successful names, it's about his credibility as a judge, a lot of which I believe he will lack. Obviously he knows how the show works and how it feels to be in a contestant's position, but we've been there and done that with Cheryl, however at least that wasn't the only good thing to come out of her being a judge. And she's obviously not an amazing judge because "3 Words has sold 1m+ omg".
February 16, 201411 yr Yeah we really can't be without Louis "you look like a popstar" Walsh on the show, Olly could never match that. Bring back Dannii tbh :(

People are ALWAYS complaining about the judging line up saying "not having anybody relevant or successful enough to judge" (the word and term for "judge" should be used lightly and not taken very serious with this show anyway) and I do think Olly is perfect for the role. He knows how to break into the industry (and do it successfully - he IS a success) via the course of The X Factor (the route the contestants are going to be taking). He's obviously well liked (and has a solid (and as I stated before) an ever growing fanbase), so he will bring in ratings for the show (which is ultimately all Cowell and ITV care about, lets be honest). And it IS about statistics when ultimately, if they're not a success they're more than likely not going to be used for the panel, are they? It's a selling point for the show and as Olly is the 2nd most successful non-winner from the show, he is ideal and he himself is in a very good place in his career to not only help his career further, but to potentially help the future of the (dying) show. This is a hard thing to argue, when I'm a known Olly fan on this site, so I hope someone with a less biased view can come and intervene or something.
February 16, 201411 yr Just do what everyone wants and put Alexandra Burke on the panel http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/11/article-1321012913600-0EC007D400000578-134197_466x690.jpg
February 16, 201411 yr Ohmygoodness, didn't she cover for Kelly Rowland and her ENTIRE category were in the bottom?
