2 of the supposed guests in talks for duets for the final are Ed and Sam Smith, they both said they like Andrea and they seem perfectly suited for him and Ben.

The themes this week are unplugged and idols, I smell a Spice Girls cover for Andrea, that could go either way.

I ust hope it's their actual idols this time, remember when they tried to pass off Kelly Clarkson as 1D's idol? I mean, she should be everyone's idol tbf but come on!

It would be good if it was something like:

Andrea - Spice Girls - Viva Forever

Fleur - Beyoncé - Crazy In Love or deja Vu

Lauren - Avril Lavigne - I'm With You

Ben - Guns 'N' Roses - Sweet Child O'Mine

I'm unsure who Lauren's idol would be exactly but that sing would suit her!

Judging by how boring Lauren is maybe Enya #oh

Brian said he wants Andrea to do Say You'll Be There on Xtra factor a couple of weeks ago, found that an odd choice but then did some youtubing and there is a great version used on The Voice Holland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rsDJuHL6nw

Those 2 girls are amazing and exactly like I think everyone on here wishes Fleur and Lauren actually were.

Lauren's idol is probable someone like Ellie Goulding cos she's popular and all that.

!

Hello everyone haven't posted here for long time. Hope everyone is well!

My two cents on the XF. Ben all the way for me this year. Loved his voice since auditions. Even though some of the themes haven't necessarily suited him (what were they thinking with I will always love you?) Despite Mel trying to pigeon hole him as a rock voice I actually prefer his "softer" bluesy moments like Ain't no Sunshine and he can do this kind of stuff very well and as well as the rocky stuff. The verses of Thinking Out Loud this week were beautiful, he is also looking more and more comfortable on stage every week. As for Fleur I like her but that's as far as it goes. She is the one who looks most comfortable on stage no doubt and she has a good package to sell but vocally not so good for me. Andrea I am bored of now. Maybe Mel needs to take the advice she gave to Ben about "pulling it back" and give it to her own contestant :P He is mostly shouting and hurts my ears most weeks. It seems Lauren is very popular around here, although she is quite good vocally she has literally zero stage presence and looks so awkward so up there. I'm surprised she has made it this far. She did sing very well in the sing off last weekend though and deserved to stay based on that.

So for me it will be

1. Ben

2. Fleur

3. Andrea

4. Lauren

A Nadal and Ben fan, are you a satan worshiper too? :P

Only when Nadal's not playing and Ben isn't singing :)

THEME CHANGE:

Looks like one of the themes will be scrapped for.....COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

Mark Sidaway @marksidaway · 18h 18 hours ago

X Factor goes festive this weekend with our Countdown to Xmas theme. Plus @FifthHarmony @SamBaileyREAL @idinamenzel with a v special guest

f*** me they just have no clue do they! There is like 5 xmas songs people like, they are all over-played and covered to the point that no one wants to ever hear another version of them.

I hope they don't scrap the Unplugged theme but I bet they will - Unplugged was an amazing theme on X Factor USA. :(

I agree. I hate Music channels at this time of year. Not in favour of a Christmas theme here as well. Don't they normally do that on the last show anyway? The previous themes were much better.

It is probably the most restrictive theme so far, which is saying something by x factor standards.

I mean Christmas songs is a much better theme than 'idols' but to be honest this year has been the ultimate worst in terms of themes anyway so it's not like it could be worse. The only theme to have not been used from another series is 'songs chosen by other artists' and that was hardly ground-breaking.

Yeah hopefully they scrap Idols instead, because like I said before they just try to pass off fairly big artists as the singer's hero or idol when they clearly aren't just because that artist is the original artist of the song the mentor wants them to sing

But I'm sure the Xmas songs will just be the usual All I Want For Christmas Is You and Last Christmas!

Fleur to sing "One More Sleep" please!

Who will get 'Silent Night' then? I bet it's Andrea :puke:

Someone to do 'Underneath The Tree' please or 'My Only Wish (This Year)'! Ben should do 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' or 'Fairytale of New York'. Fleur would be great on 'Christmas Wrapping'!

How could anyone think xmas theme is better than idol theme? With Ben, Fleur and Andrea we could have actually had 3 interesting songs for that theme, Ben to do a rarely done but well known rock song, Fleur to do the same but with a RnB track and Andrea could have done Spice girls.

The fact that xmas songs limits things to start with an X factor seem to only ever do the really obvious ones of them anyway.

Just lol at some of the suggestions already, enjoy AIWFCIY, Silent Night, Last xmas and Pogues.

I have a feeling "Idols" will be switched to the finale so they "perform with their idols (Ed Sheeran & Sam Smith)" Mel B could always duet with Andrea if he makes it there and the other two guest acts are versatile enough to work with any of the other three (or Andrea, if Mel decides not to do it).
