It's cliched subject matter, though.

 

Britney did Stronger before it and there's been loads since, usually by Kelly Clarkson, especiallywith, uh, Stronger, which is more relevant and modern. Even more so, Roar or Part of Me. Any of those really would be higher than Fighter by Christina as they're more modern sounding and by more popular artists.

I'm finding the reluctance of 'Team' to enter the top 40 quite torturous. Currently #47.

 

Also, very impressed with the staying-power of 'Braveheart'. They need to learn from Stooshe's mistakes and build quickly on their momentum though.

Well, the only mistake they made was releasing a dodgy cover version as the third single (and thus killing their career stone dead).

I'm impressed with Braveheart, too, this could build up some impressive sales. Third week in and they're still having green updates and are safely in the top ten. It's a decent song, to be fair.

Well yeah that was the main one. But didn't they scrap the original album in favour of material more similar to 'Black Heart' as well? In hindsight, they probably would have fared better with a few quick re-recordings if needed and releasing the album when they had some form of momentum. Weirdly, I actually quite liked 'Waterfalls' but it was a terrible choice of single to help launch them.

Slip should have been Stooshe's 3rd single imo, and released after Black Heart left the top 10.

It's a Disney song turned morbid, could really impact any momentum when it inevitably doesn't do well/ radio doesn't pick it up. That's not what she needs pre-album campaign.
