Quite looking forward to this, I love Mozart's House and Rather Be and Dust Clears, plus Rihanna was a tune! Rae Morris is the only name that jumps out at me as being exciting from the features artists but I'm sure this will be a great album, can't wait to hear it.

Rae Morris yess. Haven't heard 'Rihanna' and I do like Noonie Bao so I should probably get around to that.

Should be a very good album based on what I've heard from there - May seems an awful long time to wait though. :(

Massively stoked for 'New Eyes'! :w00t: :D

I think its a good idea to hold the release back! May will see the start of the festival season and I'd be shocked if they don't get an appearance at the Radio 1 Big Weekend and other events

it gives them the chance to get another single out to build the hype as I really don't like it when artists release 1 song and then the album as it feels rushed

Except Clean Bandit have already released 4 singles 'A&E', 'Mozart's House', 'Dust Clears' and 'Rather Be' which is (more than) enough pre-album singles.

One of the most interesting new acts around, even if Rather Be isn't quite up to the standard of what else I've heard from them. Really looking forward to this.

"Rihanna" is very good. Better than "Walks Like Rihanna" and better known than similarly written artist Rhianna who had a #18 hit in 2002 with "Oh Baby".

It still seems slightly surreal that they have (are currently having) a massive #1, the crowd watching them at Latitude was quite modest. I got really close to the front!

'Nightingale' is a great song, glad to see it making it onto the album (kind of). News about this album was so long overdue, was beginning to think it'd never happen! Excited ~

Interested to hear the collabs with Stylo G and Rae Morris - I don't really recognise many of the other names :P Have heard of Elisabeth Troy due to her feature on the minor top 40 hit 'Fever' by B.Traits a little while back.

Fantastic to see Rae Morris on here, it's about time she made it big.
Can't wait. "Telephone Banking" on the tracklisting has me sold. Wonder whether they'll release something new after "Rather Be" or re-release "A+E" or something (a la AlunaGeorge).

There is going to be another single before the album as they confirmed this in an interview but i dont think we will get a new track much before April/May in order to give the hype around Rather Be time to ease off!

Though I'm hoping we get a new album track rather than a rerelease, despite the fact I'd love to see Mozarts House get a higher peak than number 17

Heart on Fire:

Another great 'refreshing' track from them, I wonder if this and Rather Be is the direction they're going in with the album rather than Mozart's House.

Anybody else listened?

Currently listening myself now and on 'Telephone Banking', 'Rather Be' seems to be a one off for me. Everything else is just failing to make any kind of impression on me at all. I'm not hating or disliking any other tracks but I'm also not loving or particularly liking any other tracks. They're all just there atm. Nothing memorable sticking out at all (ignoring 'Rather Be' obviously!)

Bleh.

OH MY GOD I have just remembered this is out today!! I am such a flop stan :(

At this point, I agree to an extent. Rather Be had a lot of pop sensibilities which was why it hit so hard but that doesn't mean that nothing else is particularly bad - it's just head and shoulders above everything else because it's different. It's a very good album otherwise so far, other than knowing stuff like A&E for 18 months anyway.

Telephone Banking is really very average though.

09 'Mozart's House'

11 'Extraordinary' (feat Sharna Bass)

10 'Dust Clears'

15 'Rather Be' (feat Jess Glynne)

10 'A&E'

09 'Come Over' (feat Stylo G) (MUST be the next single)

08 'Cologne' (Feat Nikki Cislyn and Javeon)

06 'Telephone Banking' (Feat Love Ssega)

08 'Up Again' (feat Rae Morris)

09 'Heart On Fire' (feat Elisabeth Troy)

07 'New Eyes' (feat Lizzo)

08 'Birch' (Feat Eliza Shaddad)

10 'Outro Movement III' (what a lovely ending)

Mozart's House, and the new version of a&e are the best off the album. Speaking of which a&e is getting a re-release.
