March 1, 201411 yr Perfect top two, yeah, but not sure who I want to win :o Hope the scores are ridiculously close!
March 1, 201411 yr I'd be surprised if 'Sound Of The Underground' didn't win. It's the best single by a mile though, and a classic.
March 1, 201411 yr Haha the same as my rate then  ! That's exactly the question I had to ask myself as wanted to give both of them 11. Yes..And you gave 0 to the majority of the songs because you wanted your favourites to be the first 2 songs (I imagine that you are not the only one..).. I love both of them (Hallelujah - The Sound Of The Undergroud) but i think that Riser should delete your points and your whole rate. Fixed story. I want to take part in these rates but not with this way..

March 1, 201411 yr I think it's SOTU's to lose now. 'Hallelujah' has a lot of vocal haters (although I'm not sure as to whether they voted or not), where as SOTU seems more universally loved. I like SOTU in the same way as I like 'Toxic' by Britney. Adore them, but still think they're slightly overrated, but I definitely see the appeal to them. (Make sense? No? Ok then).
March 1, 201411 yr Hallelujah to win please  I do adore SOTU but I agree it's slightly overrated. It's not their best song anyway (Biology, Untouchable, Sexy No No No, The Loving Kind and Call The Shots are all better imo).
March 1, 201411 yr Perfect top 2, Alexandra to win it please  The only way this rate would be more perfect was if Sammie would be #3 (and btw her album was supposed to be out in february but was delayed because her mum was terminally sick so Samantha was spending time with her)

ALEXANDRA BURKE – HALLELUJAH X Factor 5 (2008) Score: 8.42 (11 Liam/Tim, 10 JosephStyles/Pavel/Jonjo/AdamAloud/Insomnio/Mike Sugafan/Michael! ---------------- 4 152chris, 3 Silver Rocket) aplWTXEcY70 Alexandra was lucky to be #2, with her score only .03 higher than Leona! “Hallelujah” was probably the boldest choice for a winner’s single considering its status as one of the best songs in history. Despite never charting anywhere before the download era, Jeff Buckley’s version has been heard in countless films and television shows and been covered on every Idol, X Factor, and The Voice show imaginable. Alex just happened to have her turn with it on the final of series five and delivered an intense show-stopping performance, not only selling 576K in its first week but sending Buckley’s version to #2 alongside Burke’s at #1. Of course much of that was in opposition to Alexandra’s cover but the campaign came nowhere close to toppling her. Five years later Buzzjack remains very fond of this, but she falls short of winning thanks to five ladies… 1. GIRLS ALOUD – SOUND OF THE UNDERGROUND Popstars: The Rivals (2002) Score: 10.33 11 Riser / JosephStyles / 152chris / Pavel / AdamAloud / Insomnio / Michael! / Juranamo 10 Calum Sande / Tim / Liam / Jonjo / Cameron / Mike Sugafan / Aaron. / Leonardo 9 Silver Rocket / Nick F1 V9Wv4SCBiTE In the end it wasn’t even close. I don’t know how often this happens in rate history, but Girls Aloud have an average greater than the perfect ten, because nearly half gave it their 11 and no one dared give this song less than 9. “Sound Of The Underground” is definitely on another level, a track so good it’s easy to forget it’s a winner’s single just like the rest of these! But it’s so much more: a statement, a theme song, the beginning of a mission to turn pop music on its head and defy the conventions of what a girl group can do. Perhaps it’s a sign that more winners’ singles should be upbeat like this, but even so it’s fair to say no song will touch this in the near future. Congratulations to Girls Aloud…“Sound Of The Underground” is officially the ULTIMATE WINNER’S SINGLE! Thank you all for voting and especially for participating in the results thread!

Thought you got its score wrong until you explained about the average - the lowest score it got was 9! Definitely deserved to win then.
March 1, 201411 yr YESSSSSSS GA! Wow at all of those scores :o Well deserved though! Sound of the Underground actually won the Girls Aloud Singles Survivor in their AF last week  All that relevance <3
March 2, 201411 yr Alexandras version of hallelujah is an insult to Leonard Cohen. No passion at all. Terrible.
