Why is Katy B increasing again? :o

Probably The Voice she is the voice coach on Ricky's team

294. The Fat White Family - Touch the Leather

^.^

It's a better start than I expected. Hope it does creep into the top 200 - there's literally nothing that sounds like it in the iTunes chart at the moment.

4. DVBBS & Borgeous - Tsunami (Jump) [feat. Tinie Tempah] [Radio Edit]

10. Enrique Iglesias - I'm a Freak (feat. Pitbull)

19. Flo Rida - How I Feel

28. Kylie Minogue - Into the Blue

31. Pixie Lott - Nasty

45. Lea Michele - Cannonball

60. Pixie Lott - Nasty (feat. The Vamps)

81. Chlöe Howl - Rumour

I guess 'How I Feel' is just charting due to some Capital support (I don't think 'Can't Believe It' was playlisted there) - still strange that it seems to be doing fairly well after 'Can't Believe It' did literally nothing but then it's not the first time Flo Rida has come back with a hit after apparently falling into total irrelevance. It was only with his last era that he managed to get a string of hits really.

Speaking of coming back with a hit after falling into total irrelevance, I am baffled at the success of 'I'm A Freak'? I admittedly haven't heard it but I can't imagine from the title and the feature it's anything different to his last few singles which have completely bombed (even another one that featured Pitbull). Suppose it must just come down to more support again but God knows why...

Ugh at "I'm A Freak" going top 10 so easily. Though it is being hammered by commercial radio, I suppose.

Ha, you really don't need to listen to the song - it's exactly how you'd imagine an Enrique Iglesias ft. Pitbull club-banger called 'I'm A Freak' to sound. I guess its success is just a case of throwing enough mud at the wall until some of it sticks. Reminiscent of Pitbull's career really. Although saying that, I don't actually dislike the song (yet).

Ha, good point about Pitbull. He's pretty much the ultimate example of a 'hit or miss' artist in the UK (with a singles run of 4-9-33-38-1-28-10-21-64-7-5-1).

I would support Tsunami going to number 1, but not when it's littered with Tinie's needless vocals (What's happened to him seriously? he used to actually be good :() Hopefully Route 94 can hold them off.

That Enrique Iglesias song sounds horrible just from the title.

It isn't anything different. I can't understand why someone would record a song like that and think it's good enough to use as a single. I just don't get it. And even if it is top 10, what's the point when it's a song like this? Just tragic.

Urgh, I've really given up on Enrique. I admittedly haven't listened to this one yet but that title and the feature are not inspiring me at all. Just stay away from Pitbull, okay? I know you got lucky with 'I Like It' but that doesn't mean collaborating with him is a great idea. (qualitywise obviously, wish I could say the same saleswise)

p.s.

KYLA LA GRANGE FOR #1

(+ Nasty to flop as much as possible plz x)

I am on board with this message.

Tsunami though out of those that have a realistic chance. (and I'll just pretend Tinie Tempah doesn't exist when it registers its chart success)

I've grown to like the Tinie vocals (never overly disliked them to begin with though) but they are definitely quite pointless. The song was bound to be a massive hit anyway, it really didn't need a vocal version. Will be interesting to see how well the original does as it has been released as part of the EP, considering I don't think I've seen anyone who actively prefers the Tinie version...
Agreed on Tsunami. It's a great song in it's own right & should have been left alone. Animals didn't require a featured vocal to sell well for example. Reminds me slightly of the butchering Far East Movement did to Rattle.

4 DVBBS & Borgeous - Tsunami (Jump) [feat. Tinie Tempah] ... 0.5286

I expect a very sharp Sam Smith style percentage increase for this in the daytime.

Yes. Or, what Wizard Sleeve did to the über-fabby "Riverside".

I'm supporting Into The Blue this week, it's her BEST SONG (that I've heard from her anyway)
