Little Mix down to #8.

Well slay a little. :nocheer:

As much as I like their cover, I can't help but feel this was a huge misfire on their part. I'd much rather have had them put out another single from the album, considering there's so many brilliant tracks begging to be released.

I think there's some confusion with Sia  It was apparently out last night, but then put back to a preorder again? What a foolish decision to delay it so long if that's the case. SCREAMING for a release.

 29. Cody Simpson - Surfboard :o

Yeah me too. They should have just left it and hoped for the best. It would have gone Top 10 and probably had a better chart run than previous Calvin singles.

And me

I just hope this balls up won't stop it being huge, this deserves to be a number one

55. London Grammar - Hey Now (Arty Remix)

I really like "I Got U" but i think that this song deserves to be No.1 this week. It's totally awesome. Music and vocals..

your beyonce faves could neva

CODY :cheer: This needs to get a bit higher and then stick around in the top 40 for the rest of the week if it stands a chance of making it officially though.
Kesha - We R Who We R got released as part of a compilation accidentally a week or two before it was officially released, and as a result charted at something like #97 with the few days it was available for. It still went to #1 when it got released officially.

That happened to We No Speak Americano about 5 times as well. I think from a record label's perspective that must have been one of the most difficult songs to hold back.

 66. Hey Now (Arty Remix) - London Grammar

Has this remix received some airplay of its own or something? Strange (in a good way obvz) to see it doing so well! At this rate 'Hey Now' might even outpeak 'Nightcall' :o

That Paolo Nutini song is just a new instant grat from his album. Released before the actual single :drama:

Most likely people are searching for the single getting airplay but are finding them unable to buy it for 3 more weeks and settling for this

And would most def have sold ALOT more than the 30-40k the preorders pick up over the course of 6-7 weeks. The Calvin situation just symbolises how ridiculous the UK Charts release strategies are in this day and age!

Is I Luh You Papi up for pre-order or did Jenny just throw it on Itunes?
Keep climbing that chart Paolo Nutini. I am relieved to see Christina Perri holding relatively steady and Avicii's addicted to you finally climbing, i had feared it would miss the top 20. All id like now is Kylie to keep climbing on the back of the album release, that said, after the catastrophic release strategy and no promotion its a miracle she reached an official peak of number 12.

Little Mix almost down to #9 already. :o

Guess it'll be more of a 'Proud' than a 'Gold Forever'.

It was released last week.

It's been on there for a few days. Its performance so far is about in line with the quality of the track.

If that was the case it'd be languishing in the 600s. :P

Can't say I'm surprised to see Little Mix falling. One performance of 'Word Up!' on Sport Relief is NOT going to be enough. They should be promoting it on every TV show possible this week. -_-

Oh okay, didn't realise that! Should be at least top 10 tbh :smoke:
