I doubt the single will be iTunes only, they specified an album and RiRi is releasing Q4 so this is just a similarly surprising release for the single. I'm not even sure whether to expect this album thing to happen anymore!

That is to say, she had big era (many many years ago) with dwindling success and next to zero relevance ever since. For sure, nobody could care less about a "surprise release" from this kind of artist.
