Let's start off by getting rid of the "deadwood", right?

31-38:

31. 'STEREO SOLDIER' // Avg. 7.052 (No 10's)

32. 'MR. LOVERBOY' // Avg. 6.973

33. 'CANNONBALL' // Avg. 6.944

34. 'MAKE YOU BELIEVE' // Avg. 6.900

35. 'WE ARE WHO WE ARE' // Avg. 6.447

36. 'LOVE DRUNK' // Avg. 6.433

37. 'HOW YA DOIN'?' // Avg. 6.289

38. 'UNE AUTRE PERSONNE' // 5.611

In this section, we predictably (?) see a fair amount of their debut album fall out. 5 compared to 'Salute''s 1! I think 'Stereo Soldier' was the beginning point for what made the girls decide they wanted to go in the direction that they did for their second album! It really would fit in perfectly on that album and along with 'Cannonball' ( :( ) and 'We Are Who We Are' it is a shame and a surprise to see them fall out so early on! I'd probably agree with 'Mr. Loverboy' being one of the worst from their second album. 'Make You Believe' and 'Love Drunk', which are both bonus tracks from the 'DNA' album, also fall short of making it to the top 30. Then we have the duet practically no one, but a couple of people knew about before this rate I assume. It should have stayed unknown tbh and deservedly in last place. I also agree that the original recording of HYD is deserving of it's position. So dull in comparison to the single version.

26-30:

26. 'CASE CLOSED' // Avg. 7.210

27. 'HOW YA DOIN'?' (feat. Missy Elliott) // Avg. 7.138

28. 'ALWAYS BE TOGETHER' // Avg. 7.131

29. 'WE ARE YOUNG (ACOUSTIC)' // Avg. 7.117

30. 'GOING NOWHERE' // Avg. 7.052 (One 10)

In the bottom half of the top 30, we have NO 'Salute' tracks at all. All these tracks were featured on their debut album. 2 of the remaining 3 bonus tracks are out in this section with 'Case Closed' at number 26 and their (quite frankly beautiful) interpretation of the fun. classic, 'We Are Young'. The single mix of 'How Ya Doin'?' also appears here and they decided to get the iconic, Missy Elliott to do an exclusive remix just for the single release. It's the far superior version so I'm happy at it beating out the original. One of my favourites from the debut album, 'Always Be Together' features here (SO LOW!) as does 'Going Nowhere', a song which seems to be better received when done LIVE.

21-25:

21. 'COMPETITION' // Avg. 7.500 (One 10)

22. 'WINGS' (Korean Version) // Avg. 7.500 (No 10's)

23. 'THEY JUST DON'T KNOW YOU' // Avg. 7.394

24. 'SEE ME NOW' // Avg. 7.342

25. 'WORD UP!' // Avg. 7.323

So finally get around to losing a few 'Salute' tracks, trying to be as unbiased as possible but I can't as I absolutely adore the whole album. 'Competition' I thought would fare better though for some reason. A shame to see it miss out on a top 20 position. 'They Just Don't Know You' and 'See Me Now' are great songs too, but in comparison to the rest of the album? Maybe middling, for me. We also see the girls Korean version of their debut-post XF single, 'Wings'. Such a brilliant version I think. If you've not checked it out yet, you must. They sing it perfectly and then finishing off this section at number 25, we have the most recent single, the floptastic 'Word Up!'. Gutted about this flopping not only here but officially. I really love their version of the song and I love what they've done to it.

Awwww I really like Mr. Loverboy. This song gives me chill every time. :( >.<

They Just Don't Know Me is one of my favourites on the whole album, would love it to have been a single if it was on the standard version. I think if we do another rate in a years time or something Word Up! won't be so high. :(

16-20:

16. 'ABOUT THE BOY' // Avg. 7.684

17. 'LITTLE ME (UNPLUGGED)' // Avg. 7.656

18. 'TURN YOUR FACE' // Avg. 7.605 (Same 10's & 9's; More 8's)

19. 'A DIFFERENT BEAT' // Avg. 7.605 (Same 10's & 9's; Less 8's)

20. 'GOOD ENOUGH' // Avg. 7.605 (No 10's)

We have one 'DNA' album track in this section, sandwhiched in the middle by 4 'Salute' tracks. 'About The Boy' starts us off at #16. It's a really catchy song (so much more memorable than 'Boy', so I'm not happy to see it finish lower!) and we can't mention this song without mentioning THAT note from Perrie! The Unplugged version of 'Little Me' finishes at #17 and I actually slightly prefer it I think! The big ballad number from 'DNA' ('Turn Your Face') finishes at #18. Such a beautiful song, which I'm surprised didn't finish higher! A disappointing finish also, for 'A Different Beat'! SHAME ON YOU ALL. This should be top 10 :( 'Good Enough' however, finishes in about the right position for me, give or take a couple of spots!

11-15:

11. 'BOY' // Avg. 7.921

12. 'MADHOUSE' // Avg. 7.894

13. 'STAND DOWN' // Avg. 7.842

14. 'CHANGE YOUR LIFE' // Avg. 7.763

15. 'PRETEND IT'S OK' // Avg. 7.710

Almost top 10 time and in the unlucky bunch we have 'Boy', which really isn't bad, but good enough to be on the border of the top 10 over what has been already? Meh. One of my very favourites from the 'DNA' album, 'Madhouse' finishes at a respectable #12 (although I'd have preferred top 10.) the ridiculously good "bonus track" 'Stand Down' manages to finish at the unlucky number of 13. Such an infectious, dancefloor filler! The third single from 'DNA' finishes up at #14. Such a warm, nice and feel good song. Then at #15 we have the other "ballad" from the 'DNA' album, 'Pretend It's OK', the one which I find to be completely average, forgettable and overrated, personally.

We Are Who We Are, Competition and Going Nowhere far too low :( Plus Madhouse and Change Your Life should be top 10 actually, I thought the latter would be!

Great to see Good Enough top 20, didn't expect that

I was ready to complain about a few tracks missing the top 10, but seeing this list, it's understandable. Some really strong songs in there. Only ones I'm not totally enamoured with are 'Red Planet' and 'DNA (Unplugged)'.

'Love Drunk', 'How Ya Doin'?', 'Stereo Soldier' and 'Mr Loverboy' are all too low. 'Good Enough' and WAWWA should be last imo. Pleasantly surprised at how well CYL performed considering it's usually slated a fair amount.

Personally, my preferred finishing order of that top 10 would be:

1) Move

2) Nothing Feels Like You

3) Salute

4) Towers

5) Wings

6) Little Me

7) These Four Walls

8) DNA

9) DNA (Unplugged)

10) Red Planet

7 of the top 10 are all Salute tracks, that's definitely a good sign. Personally I'm disappointed Little Me is there, I'd replace that with Madhouse and then I can live with the rest of that top 10.

'Word Up!' is FAR FAR too high. So is 'Salute' to make top 10. It's a good track but far from their best.

I want 'Move' to win and I think it will do, it has a lot of fans. I predict a top 3 of Move, DNA and Wings.

WHAAAT @ Love Drunk being so low, love that song :( 3rd bottom, really?!

And, I'm the same as Defaze, I was going through this thinking... there's some songs that deserve top 10 here, but then I really like everything in the top 10. I do prefer their upbeats to their ballads though, so I'd rather have seen Competition and Madhouse there over songs like 'DNA (Unplugged)' and 'These Four Walls' (which I do really like still).

Move will win tho
