April 6, 201411 yr Aladdin is superb. It's such good fun, with amazing songs. I'm not sure what there is to dislike. But then again I absolutely LOVE The Sword In The Stone too, and I appreciate that's not for everyone. What I genuinely don't understand are some of the low scores for Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. I thought they were pretty much universally adored.

XX.X Frozen XX.X Hercules XX.X Home On The Range 10.0 Lady and The Tramp - so much to love about this film XX.X Lilo & Stitch 04.0 Mulan - I got bored 02.0 Oliver & Company - a cute cat doesn't make a film...neither does Billy Joel 07.0 One Hundred and One Dalmatians - Some great bits but not that memorable 08.0 Peter Pan - the Captain Hook bits are brilliantly funny 11.0 Pinocchio - Animation perfection - the opening shot alone is fantastic. Dark, funny and features the signature Disney tune. Has the best songs but lacking a wee bit in storyline here and there. Love the vultures. 08.0 The Lion King - great fun - a good example of modern Disney getting it right XX.X The Lion King II: Simba's Pride 07.0 The Little Mermaid - decent, I love the French chef 05.0 The Princess and the Frog - saw this at Christmas I think, doesn't stand up to the usual 2D standard 06.0 The Rescuers - disappointing 10.0 The Sword in The Stone - always loved this.
