If I'm not forgetting anything, Gotye currently holds the 21st century record too, so Pharrell has a good chance at beating that as well!

Oh yes, I forgot about that! What was the last longer top 10 run anyway? Wet Wet Wet?

Yes - who would have thought appearing on The Voice would have had such a big effect... :P

The Voice hasn't exactly had an overwhelming impact on the chart in the rest of its run. And the last minute Kaiser Chiefs boost would have been almost entirely digital, so I'm very surprised to see it's pushed them ahead by as much as 2k.

This is really immense. It should have been number 1 in my personal chart!
Surprised John Legend's got a #2! I haven't noticed him ahead on iTunes at all, I'm sure the sales difference between John and Duke was tiny!

He wasn't ahead, but multiple versions helped him up to #2. Also a Tiesto remix came out this week.

John Legend's got another version at the bottom end of the Top 100 on itunes and the Tiesto remix is in the Top 200 too, so they probably helped it beat Duke this week.

OMG! "All Of Me" and "The Man" top 2! :cheer:
Baby - Pnau

I think

Oh, thanks!

I'm stupid, it was pretty obvious it had to be a Pnau song

Biography

John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978), better known by his stage name John Legend, is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He has won nine Grammy Awards, and in 2007, Legend received the special Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Prior to the release of his debut album, Legend's career gained momentum through a series of successful collaborations with multiple established artists. Legend added his voice to those of other artists, assisting in them reaching chart-topper hits. He lent his voice to Magnetic Man's "Getting Nowhere," Kanye West's "All of the Lights", on Slum Village's "Selfish" and Dilated Peoples' "This Way". Other artists included Jay-Z's "Encore", and he sang backing vocals on Alicia Keys' 2003 song "You Don't Know My Name", the Kanye West remix of Britney Spears' "Me Against the Music", and Fort Minor's "High Road". Legend played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything". - Wikipedia

Biography

Born to Panamanian parents in Los Angeles in 1979, E. Nathaniel Dawkins (aka Aloe Blacc) first began playing trumpet in elementary school, and continued with the instrument throughout high school. There he also independently released Imaginary Friends, produced by DJ Exile, with whom he would go on to form the hip-hop group Emanon. While at college at USC, though his artistic endeavors were placed behind his scholastic goals, Aloe still managed to learn how to play the guitar and the piano, and after graduating and spending some time in the corporate world, he decided to return to his first love, music. In 2005 Emanon's full-length debut, The Waiting Room, came out on Shaman Works, and the next year his first solo album, Shine Through, a combination of retro-soul and Latin music, was released on Stones Throw. He partnered with the Truth & Soul Productions crew for 2010's more organic effort Good Things. The album featured the single "I Need a Dollar," which reached the Top Ten in several countries, including the U.K. and Germany. The song was licensed for use as the theme song to the HBO show How to Make It in America. In 2013, Aloe co-wrote and fronted Avicii's "Wake Me Up," an international smash hit that reached the Top Five of Billboard's Hot 100. His third album, Lift Your Spirit, was released in some territories later that year. In the U.S., it was issued through Interscope in early 2014. - iTunes

Discussion Thread Here

If only Happy had been #5 last week. Then it would have gone 1-2-3-4-5-6. Also, it wouldn't have moved more than one place for the last 16 weeks! :o

That would have equalled Flo Rida's 2-3-4-5-6-7 descent for Good Feeling :o

Did NOT expect John Legend to reach #2, Duke seemed to be ever-so-slightly increasing the gap but still, nice to see John Legend having a #2 to his name!

Really pleased with Gary Barlow and Kylie album position this week. Great to see Kty B back in the top 40 albums and while good i was suprised o see Sophie Elis Bextor return to the top 40, sophie looking like having a good shot at a silver album now.
