It's interesting that their #19 peaking single managed to sell more than a #3! I think 'LMM' might have pushed over 130k while 'IFY' was floundering around the 115k mark.

Not surprising Top 2. Funny to see 'Show Me Love (America)' at 12th, lower than 'Warzone'.

All the singles have been great. They are to be missed (or not, we'll see when they return). I'll still going to listen to their albums weekly!

Ha at 'Show Me Love (America)' finishing in dead last (aside from 'Glow In The Dark'). Fully deserved. Is and always was a terrible nothing of an attempt at a song.

Anyone know the sales gap between 'Lightning' and 'Chasing The Sun'? I'm sure both sell very little these days but a little bit disappointing that the latter, by far their best song, is still stuck behind the former which is only a little bit better than 'Show Me Love (America)' in the nothingness scale. Good top 2 though, as predictable as it is.

I think the gap between those two singles is about 10k, maybe less than that even. I remember it was quite tight between them anyway!

+ just "no" to your Lightning and Show Me Love shade (even though the latter is one of my least favourites). x

I was thinking the same! I didn't think it would be last but I'm glad it is.

'Show Me Love (America)', a lead single performed on X Factor to millions of people, hasn't outsold 'Warzone' a post-album #21-peaking hit that spent two weeks top 40? :drama: Probably an unpopular opinion given this fact, but 'Show Me Love' is one of their better songs IMO, along with the top 4 and 'I Found You'.

'Show Me Love', 'Gold Forever' and 'I Found You' are the only 3 I can't actually bare to listen to.

I would say 'Walks Like Rihanna' too, but I have enjoyed it with the influence of alcohol.

 Explain yourself :P.

EDIT: Never mind - I misread 'can't' for 'can' :D.

Isn't Warzone the song that was looking to miss the top 40 altogether before its timely discount?

7 songs selling over 200,000 is pretty good to be honest.

So they'll wrap their career up with two half a million selling songs ultimately, not bad.

When it comes to tracks I couldn't stand from them, well, there are many :D

Heart Vacancy, Gold Forever and The Lightning would likely be my tips for the worst of the worst.

So they spent £250,000 for an X Factor performance only for it to become the worst-performing single! Glad to see that Warzone isn't last though, it's their best song.
I don't get the negativity towards show me love america. I really like it & it deserved to do a lot better!
And I don't get the hate towards 'Gold Forever'! :(
'Gold Forever' is one of the 4 The Wanted singles that I'd say I like (along with their 2 #1s and 'Chasing The Sun'). A couple of the others are tolerable but quite a few of them are crap.
They were always one of the better boybands in my opinion. Glad You Came, Lightning and Chasing The Sun being highlights .
They got a lot of flack off this site when I never saw them as any worse than any other pop group of the time.
We Own The Night was glorious.
